Chloe, Amber, and Chance are on the patio at Crimson Lights discussing how bizarre it is that Jana would leave Kevin. Michael and Lauren come in, but they haven't seen Kevin. Amber and Chloe are leaving, and Chloe warns Chance to be careful. After she goes, he calls in the partial license plate of the car that nearly ran them down. Lauren is inside at a table when Daisy comes in. She offers to get Lauren a coffee. Michael finishes a phone call and sits down with Lauren, noting that last night she was lively, and now not so much. She says she's tired, but Michael feels that's not the answer - they need to find out what's causing her problems! Daisy hands Lauren the coffee, but Michael thinks it's not a good idea, so Lauren passes. They leave, and Daisy looks at a photo of Lauren and Paul she has!
At the lockup, Katherine and Jill are with Cane. Katherine says she has to go, and gives Cane a kiss, telling him to take care. Cane sits back down with Jill, who tells him that she and Kay will take care of Lily for him. He tells her that Lily's scan results aren't good - he'll escape! Jill is upset by the idea and tries to make him promise not to do anything rash. They say they love each other and she leaves, just as Chloe and Amber are coming in to see him. He is amused when the girls offer to be character witnesses or even lie on his behalf if it would help him stay in the country! He says the reality is that the sooner he goes, the sooner he can come back into the country. They both hug him and say goodbye. Outside the room, they agree that was sad, and wonder if there is any way to help him.
Back at the coffee house, Amber and Chloe have donned aprons and are making really disgusting cookies to give Cane - then he'll have to go to the hospital and they won't deport him. Chance comes in and marvels at their efforts. He pulls Chloe aside and tells her that the partial plate yielded 600 results! She sighs, and asks if they can just go home. He softens, and agrees. Daisy sits at the counter and puts the photo of Paul and Lauren in an envelope with Michael's name on it. Michael comes in and slaps his briefcase down on the counter. As he makes a call, Daisy slips the envelope into his briefcase! Michael comes back to his briefcase and picks it up as Amber quizzes him about Cane's case. He says it's as bad as it sounds, and leaves.
Isn't This Sweet!
Amber and Chloe are discussing Jana's disappearance in Fenmore's. Lauren appears and asks Amber about a shipment - she says it's next on her list, but Lauren snaps, "Never mind! I'll do it myself!" Lauren holds her head in pain as Chloe expresses concern. Amber gets the scoop on the shipment, and Lauren snaps at her again, accusing her of chatting with her friends instead of working - she fires her! Amber and Chloe gape in shock! As Lauren seems to be in agony with her headache, Chloe suggests that she take her to her doctor. Lauren completely breaks down, shouting at Amber that she can't watch the store - she doesn't work there anymore, and that there is no one she can call - she has no one! Chloe and Amber are stunned at the outburst and tears! Chloe gets a call from Chance and learns that he and Kevin haven't found Jana - he warns her to let Amber know that Kevin will need his friends tonight! Lauren tells the girls that she hears herself saying these things, and she's just horrified! Amber arranges for her prescription to be delivered and Lauren tells her she's not fired, and she should go help support Kevin.
Chloe and Amber meet up with Chance and Kevin at Crimson Lights. Amber tells Chance that this story is ludicrous - Jana's world revolved around Kevin. Kevin thinks they played right into someone's hands by going to that hotel room. Chance tells Chloe the coroner's report came in on Rigg's - it was suicide - but he doesn't buy it. He thinks someone on the force may be involved! A letter is delivered to Kevin just then - it's from Jana. He reads the break up letter and balls it up - protesting that this just can't be true!
Look At the Stones on This Guy!
Daniel and Amber are at the coffee house with Kevin, they all brainstorm about how to find Jana. Kevin insists that regardless of what that waiter says, Jana did not take off on her own - someone took her. Chloe comes in, and Kevin asks her to get Chance to help him find Jana! Ryder comes in and Daniel shouts, "Look at the stones on this guy!" Ryder tells Kevin he really would like to help him look for Jana. He makes his case, saying Jana was good to him. Kevin accepts his offer, and he, Daniel, and Ryder head out. Amber suggests to Chloe that they try Jana's Ouija board. Chloe reluctantly participates - it spells out 'Mama'. Amber thinks it's picking up on her thoughts.
Back at the coffee house, Kevin, Ryder, and Daniel tells Amber and Chloe that she was at the theater. They get Chance on the phone and fill him in on the latest. Kevin becomes really agitated - he's her husband, he's supposed to keep her safe! Amber jumps up and gives him a hug.
Princess.
In the bookstore, Amber tells Daniel she tracked her mother down and was able to speak to Little D! She says he's fine, and remarks that Deacon gave Tawny plenty of money to take care of him. Daniel is relieved - they're not ready to have a kid to take care of! Amber corrects him, saying, "You're not." She says she loves being a mom - and he'll be a great dad. She admits that she's had trouble with pregnancies in the past - if they don't start trying they might run out of time. Daniel reasserts that he is just not ready! Daisy appears, and Amber storms off. Daniel looks at Daisy's photos of the full moon, and tells her he has time to give her some tips. She beams as they sit down and she gets close to him. Daniel soon says he should get going - Amber was ticked off, but making up is part of the fun. Daisy tells him she's never had a boyfriend because high school boys don't do it for her - she'd rather have an older guy. Daniel laughs and tells her there is no rush.
Amber meets with Katherine in Crimson Lights. She tells her that she's worried that she and Daniel aren't going to make it! They discuss Amber wanting children, and Katherine assures her that they have plenty of time - he may feel differently in a year or two. Amber sighs.
Daniel finds Amber at the coffee house and tells her he doesn't want to disappoint her, but he can't imagine taking on the responsibility of a child when he doesn't know what he's even doing with himself! Amber says she understands, and Daniel embraces her, saying they'll be just fine.
