Bookstore Bungle!

At Neil's place, he and Karen are about to share their news with Devon and Roxanne, when Tyra and Ana come in. When Karen announces to all that she and Neil are engaged to be married, Tyra looks disappointed. Tyra congratulates them, however, and Lily speaks up and says she needs to get going. Devon spills that she has a date with a guy she met online. They all warn her to be careful, and she says that she has arranged to meet him at a very public bookstore!

At the bookstore, Lily, Devon and Roxanne plot how she will recognize 'Sonny'. Lily says she'll text him to meet her in the literary section. Devon and Roxanne go to another part of the store, while outside the door, Billy gets the text to meet in the literary section. He heads there, but Roxanne recognizes him as the guy who threw the Hallowe'en party. She grabs him and drags him off to see Devon. As he extricates himself from that situation, Chloe and Cane come in. Chloe bumps right into him and Billy becomes upset. "Not this time, Chloe!" He warns that if she doesn't stop ticking him off, he'll tell Cane about them! Chloe smirks, saying that if he does, then Lily will know he's got 'Chloe cooties' and she'll have nothing to do with him! As Billy moves away to find Lily, he realizes with misery, that Lily is now talking to Cane. Lily assumes Cane is 'Sonny' and smiles as she greets him. He asks what she is doing there, and she realizes that it's a coincidence. She sighs, and tells him he needs to go as she's meeting someone there. Cane moves away, and Billy approaches. Lily says to him, "What are you doing here?" He asks if she's there to meet the online guy. She nods, and he says maybe the guy saw her talking to Cane and left. He says it would have been pretty obvious that she's in love with him. Lily admits that she doesn't want to be in love with him anymore! Billy gives her a hug - and Cane's head pops around the corner, registering shock at the scene in front of him!

I've Been Expecting You!

Jill thanks Gina for arranging the reception at the GCAC. Esther, Danny, Liz and Brock all discuss how much Katherine would have liked the service. Billy, Cane, Chloe, Amber and Daniel join in the conversation too. They joke about how wild she could be at times and share a laugh. Neil, Karen, and Lily arrive and pay their respects. Jill thanks them for coming. Billy asks Brock why he called her 'the Duchess', and Brock explains that that's the way he always saw her. Liz agrees that she had a regal bearing. Neil takes Lily aside and asks if she's okay - she's been very quiet. Lily notes that it's just a sad day. Neil is joined by Karen and they tell Lily that they're engaged. She congratulates them happily. Nearby, Brock introduces Cane to Nina. Cane tells her that he's the 'other' son - Jill will always consider Philip her son as well. He says he'd like to meet her son sometime, and she says he'd love that too. They agree to meet to chat later.

Still at the reception, Cane is approached by Lily who tells him that his speech at the funeral was wonderful. She assures him that time does heal things, but he replies, "Not always." Chloe stands with Billy watching them talk and says, "Oh great. Another reason for us to feel like crap."

This Should Be Good!

Jill is next to speak at the funeral. She speaks of their complicated relationship. She says that despite their differences, they loved each other. She says she made a mistake in thinking that she'd always be there, and she would always have a chance to apologize. She says she hopes that she is looking down on her right now and hearing her words. Jill then reads a poem. Brock returns to the front, and as he speaks, everyone in the church thinks private thoughts and prays for different things. Many of them wish for those who have already passed to take care of Katherine, some wish for strength to deal with their personal situations, Traci wishes Ashley luck with Victor, and Jeffrey checks Dina out! Devon and Ana sing Amazing Grace as everyone lines up to place a rose on the casket and say goodbye. Victor files out holding Ashley's hand without acknowledging anyone. Nikki collapses across the casket and is led away by Paul. Michael approaches Nicholas and asks where Victor went. Nick tells him that he's already gone. "He had a car waiting."

Parisian Adventure!

Sitting in Crimson Lights with Lily. Billy answers his cell phone when it rings. He tells Cane that he's sorry - he realized just recently that his phone has been turned off all day. He asks if something is wrong in Hong Kong, but when he hears what Cane has to say, his expression drops. "Oh no."

Alone in the living room, Cane thanks Chloe for helping him look after both their mothers. He confides in her what a childhood fantasy it was for him coming there and how Katherine, especially, embraced him and was there for him - and now she's gone. Chloe says she is sorry and moves to give him a hug. As they hold one another, Lily walks in and stops dead in her tracks. Billy is right behind her. Chloe goes over and tells Billy she is sorry about his grandmother, giving him a quick hug, then turns to Lily and thanks her for coming and gives her a hug! Lily is speechless. Jill comes into the room, and Billy rushes into her arms. When they finally sit down, Billy tells his mother he doesn't understand - Katherine hadn't had a drink in years. Jill blames herself, wondering if the recent pushing she'd been doing had driven her to drink again. Chloe approaches Esther and they share a heartfelt moment as Chloe reaches out and acknowledges Esther's pain. They embrace. Lily speaks quietly to Cane, saying she is sorry for his loss, and that she understands what it's like to lose someone so important.

Back in the Chancellor living room, Esther tells a story from Katherine's past. It's about Derek Thurston, Katherine's husband at the time, and Colonel Austin, who was madly in love with her. The Colonel didn't like the way Derek was treating her, so he challenged Derek to a duel! She notes that Katherine acted outraged, but secretly loved the attention! Jill sobs, "Katherine, are you really gone?"

Rolling in the Dough!

At Crimson Lights, Lily sits down at a computer and logs in to the online dating site. She asks 'Sonny's' forgiveness for running out of the Hallowe'en party before meeting him. Across town, Billy reads the message and smirks, saying, "Oh sweet Lily, of course you're forgiven!" As they converse, he accuses her of figuring out which guy he was and bailing. She replies that it's not true - one thing she likes about the site is that there are no photos! He agrees. They start talking about love and relationships and he ends up telling her that she's too nice. She expounds about how great Cane was for a bit, before stopping herself and asking 'Sonny' how love has treated him. He replies that there was this one time that he fell in love and he thought they would end up together, but it turned out to be impossible. He tells her he'd try again with the right girl! She says she has to go, but would like to meet face-to-face. He agrees to do it!

Get Over Me!

Ana and Lily sit in Crimson Lights. Ana tells Lily she needs a friend because she seems sad. Just then, Chloe comes in and asks if she can set her packages down while she gets her muffin. At first, Lily tells her 'no', but then gives in. Chloe thanks her, saying that the baby is sure getting heavy! As Ana and Lily discuss getting manicures, Ana blurts that Lily needs to look pretty for her new boyfriend! Chloe immediately asks, "Oh, who's the new guy?" Billy and Cane walk up to the table just then. Lily looks embarrassed. Billy sits down and helps Ana eat her piece of cake. They have a brief discussion about being good with kids, in which Billy says he's just glad that he will be Uncle Billy, not Daddy. Ana comes back, Cane goes to get coffee. Ana asks Chloe if she ever met Tyra Banks, and Billy asks Lily what happened to 'Sonny Crawford' at the Hallowe'en party. Chloe remarks that it was such a great party, and that after they got home that night, she and Cane surfed the Internet looking for baby suits. Lily snaps. "What's your point, Chloe?! I get it, alright, you're having a baby with Cane, living in my house, with my ring on your finger! You don't need to go out of your way to prove how 'tight' you are!" She gets up and leaves.
