In the Mexican bar, Victor chats up the bartender, asking about his daughter who is sitting nearby. The bartender tells him she is six years old and Victor tells him she is very pretty. He interacts with the little girl briefly buying a basket of roses from her. The little girl follows him outside and watches as he throws the flowers one-by-one into the water. The girl asks him why he did that, but he only smiles and asks if she'll go to the store for him. She agrees. The girl soon returns with a brown paper bag. Victor thanks her for his medicine and tells her to keep the change from the money he gives her. He opens the bag - it's epilepsy medicine! Back at the bar munching peanuts, Victor makes a call and says simply, "I'm here."

At a seedy Mexican bar, Victor Newman sits doing shots of tequila!
Newman Brothers Showdown!
Neil turns up at the Ranch, right behind Jana who has brought some flowers and wants to take them to where Sabrina is buried. Jana suggests that Victoria go to Sabrina's grave too. Victoria sees her out, then asks Paul, "What if dad has done something to himself?" He replies that anything is possible. Victoria and J.T. leave, and Nick suggests that they call in the FBI. Adam disagrees because then the media will be alerted. Nick says that's good, then everyone will be looking for him! Adam says that kind of publicity may only make things worse - like the Sabrina article. Nick calls him a little punk and an opportunist. Adam says Nick is just jealous of him - probably because Victor wrote him out of the will! Nick is shocked to hear this, but he tells him the money doesn't mean anything to him. He accuses Adam of trying to protect stock prices by not reporting Victor missing. Adam says he is protecting the business, like Victor would! Nick says with his father, family comes first. Adam rages, "Hey, I am family!" The pair go at each other physically until Neil and Paul break it up!
Knowledge is Power!
At the Ranch, Adam tells Victor about Skye's death and that the authorities think David Chow may have killed her. Victor is visibly stunned and offers sincere condolences to his son. Adam tries then to tell Victor that he understands how he's feeling, but Victor beats a hasty retreat at the idea of sharing!
At the Ranch, Adam is ready to go to the funeral, and approaches his father again, to ask if they could go to the funeral together. He notes that he misses Sabrina too. Victor asks him to go, he wants to be left alone right now. Adam leaves, and the doorbell rings. Daniel is shown in. He explains to Victor that he hates to bother him, but Sabrina commissioned him to sketch her, and he thought that Victor might want to see it. Victor thanks him politely and asks him to show himself out. Victor then, throws the envelope down beside his laptop, where he's been working, without opening it and looking at it.
Victor, clad in casual clothing, sunglasses, and a ball cap, boards a seedy-looking bus. As he sits in his seat, he remembers that morning and saying goodbye to Sabrina.

At the Ranch, Adam is surprised to see Victor putting bags out on the porch. When he explains that they are some of Sabrina's things to go to charity, a concerned Adam offers his dad some help, but Victor has already left the room. He gets on the phone with Heather and they discuss the Skye situation. Adam says he's not going to panic - Skye has been known to take off before. Michael arrives and is taken aback that Victor is getting rid of Sabrina's things. Victor bluntly tells Michael and Adam that it isn't too soon. As they sit to discuss the funeral, Michael admits that he called Zara to tell her - she had found out about her daughter's death through the press! Victor is not forthcoming about why he chose not to call Sabrina's mother, or about what he wants to do for the funeral. Michael is extremely frustrated and Adam warns he's been like this all morning. J.T. arrives and expresses his condolences to Victor, briefing him on the security at Newman. He says Nick and Victoria send their love and would like to come by. Victor quietly says it's not necessary. J.T. says they'll all be at the funeral. Victor seems distracted and strange. "Sure. Whatever you like." Michael and J.T. exchange a glance as J.T. sighs, "This isn't good!" When J.T. and Adam have gone, Michael tries to get Victor to open up, or at least reconsider giving away Sabrina's things. Victor tersely asks, "Are you into grief counseling now, or what?"
At the Ranch, Victor stands alone holding the piece of jewelry, silver with turquoise, that he pulled from the seat of the wreckage the night of the Gala. He has a deadly serious look on his face as he looks away from the jewelry and out of the window in contemplation.
Follow Your Bliss!
In Sabrina's hospital room, Nikki starts telling Victor how sorry she is, and tells him she is there if he needs somebody to lean on. Victor is silent. She continues her speech, but he suddenly grabs her by the arm, and with gritted teeth, gestures to Sabrina's body. "You understand? Do you understand this? How dare you come in here! I can't stand you!" Nikki brushes off his rage and keeps talking. "Whether you believe it or not, my heart goes out to you." Suddenly the door opens. The orderlies have come to take the deceased. Nikki watches as Victor bravely covers Sabrina's face with the sheet and sobs silently. As Nikki tears up, Victor turns away, hunched with grief. He slowly leaves the room and Nikki stops him. He tells her there is nothing she can say. If she had listened when he warned her about David Chow, none of this would have happened. "I hold you responsible!" Nikki frantically tries to remind him that they are all family. Victoria and Nick approach just as Sabrina's body is wheeled past. Victor tells them that Sabrina loved him more than anyone has ever loved him - and now she's gone! "They're taking her to the basement! To stick a tag on her toe!" He then tells Nikki he wishes it was her who they were sticking in the basement in a drawer! Nick is flabbergasted!
Victor has gone to Sabrina's Art Gallery and cranks up the opera music. Upstairs at Restless Style, Jack, who can hear the music, looks around, puzzled, "Opera?!" Following the sound leads him to the Gallery - and to Victor. Jack watches, unseen, as Victor suffers exquisite pain and grief with tears running down his cheeks.
