Nick arrives at the Ranch and is soon met by the security guard. He tells the guard that he is Victor's son, but the guard says he has very specific instructions not to let anyone in! Nick explains that he would like to leave a letter for his father. The security guard lets him in to leave a note and the letter. Nick is upset at the dark, unclean atmosphere of the Ranch. He leaves. Victor comes out and asks the security guard who it was. He tells him to put the letter with the others.
Like a Fat Man on a Trampoline!
At the Ranch, Victor confers with a security guard he has hired to keep people away. He explains that there is a list of people who may come and go who live on the property, but no one is to get near the main house.
Michael arrives at the Ranch and goes through the security detail. Victor explains that he's not taking any chances after last night. He doesn't explain what happened, however. He informs Michael that from now on if his children want to speak to him, they can do so through him. Michael asks if that includes Adam. Victor says no, he's persona non grata! Victor says that after what he pulled while he was gone, they have no obligation to him. He explains to Michael that he will have little contact with him. Michael asks if Victor is going somewhere, but Vic says he will be just staying there alone - in peace!
Adam arrives at the Ranch and is stopped by the security guard. Michael tells the guy to let Adam in - he'll take full responsibility. Michael goes over to the office door and knocks, hollering that Adam is there and wants a word with him. There is no response. Adam pushes Michael aside and starts knocking and talking to the door. He tells him he has no job and was just trying to make him proud! Adam becomes agitated as he gets no response. The security guard throws him out. Victor calls out to Michael to never let that boy come to the house again. Michael agrees, and says he is leaving. He asks if there is anyone he is planning to stay close to. Victor tells him he will contact him when he needs him, and responds no further!

Neil arrives at the Ranch and asks Victor how he wants to go about keeping in contact. Victor says Newman Enterprises is his to run as he sees fit. He's sending the moving company to clean out his office tomorrow and Neil can move in. He further tells him to hire whoever he likes. He does, however, have one request.
It's dark outside, and Nikki arrives at the Ranch. She knocks and Victor asks who it is. She says it's Nikki and she wants to talk. He says there is nothing to talk about. "Why did you fire the staff, Victor?" He refuses to answer or to let her in. He soon hollers that she is trespassing and he'll call the police. With that, Nikki smashes through a window! Nikki enters and asks why he doesn't care about what happens to his staff! He tells her he has talked to her enough - she has thirty seconds to get out or the police will arrest her. She gives up and leaves, calling out, "Bye now! Get it together - you're embarrassing yourself!"
The Victor Show!
At the Ranch, Nick and Victoria step into Victor's office, and as Vikki embraces him, Nick says, "Good to have you back, Dad." Victor tells them he came back because it was preferable to having the tabloids hounding him. He says he is proud of how they conducted themselves in his absence. Nick asks why he went to Mexico. Victor sighs deeply, "To heal my wounds." They all make amends from the time after Sabrina died. Victoria tells him how much the letter he wrote meant to her. Victor tells them that there are going to be changes in their lives and in the business - they'll find out when Michael Baldwin airs the video statement he made. They are stunned that he is putting up the walls again. He says he has to. Nick spits, "You're protecting yourself from your own kids?" Nick becomes angry - Victor is showing no concern about what they have gone through, or about his grandchildren! He says he wouldn't even see them until business was taken care of! Victor merely says he is sorry he is disappointed, then asks them to leave him alone!
Adam arrives at the Ranch to pack up. As he heads upstairs, Nick and Victoria come out of the office. "Well, well. The happy family is reunited," he says snidely. He tells them to stick around and watch him pack his things - then they can really gloat! They tell him he had this coming - he's acted like a jackass! Victor comes out and asks them to leave the house. He even tells Adam he will have his things sent to him!
At the Ranch, as Victor plays with Zapato, Sharon arrives with Noah. Noah hugs his grandfather and says they should all get together - the whole family. Victor puts him off. Sharon asks Noah for a moment alone with Victor. Sharon immediately fills Victor in on what is going on at the magazine. She then asks him to hire Nicholas back at Newman Enterprises. She says the tension at Restless Style is causing her family to suffer.
