Back at the ranch, Sabrina comes downstairs. She asks Victor if Nick came by to apologize. He tells her she gives him too much credit: He's moving out. Victor explains that his son is no longer allowed on any of his properties. She's shocked. He tells her that Nick has shown enormous disrespect to him over the years, even betraying him to the government. He says that maybe he should have spent more time with his children, but he didn't have time and thinks they've come back for revenge. She suggests there must be another way to handle this. He serves them tea. She asks him if he will do something like this to their child if he upsets him in the future. He says he won't and is amazed by how forgiving she is. Nick is part of him and always will be, she says. She knows how affectionate and tender he can be and how he must have been to Nick as a child; she urges him to remember that. He remembers how much his son has disrespected and betrayed him. "The biggest betrayal is for you to turn your back on your son," she says, begging him not to do this.
As the day moves on, Victor stares out the window and thinks. Sabrina interrupts his ruminations. He tells her how lucky he feels to have another chance at fatherhood. He's finally realized that family is more important than success and money. She tells him he should reach out to the family he already has. She gets a call about the gala. Before leaving, she tells him that he is a kind soul underneath it all and asks him again to do the right thing. After she leaves to get ready, Adam walks in and tells his father that Brad and Jill have been digging into David's past and will try to keep it secret. They decide this would be a good time to go public.
Victor goes down to his son's door and announces that he and his family can stay. "I don't want to stay. We're moving," Nick says. "You have it your way," Victor grumbles. Nick shuts the door on him.
At the ranch, Victor and Sabrina are having orange juice. He feels horrible for the stress she's under. She just wants to focus on their future and is sure the article will soon be forgotten. When she walks off, Victor calls an associate and asks him to pull his advertising from Restless Style.
At Crimson Lights, Victor and Sabrina look at the sonogram. He assures his wife that the child will live a charmed life and he will be there for them. JT walks by with the baby. Nikki spots them and avoids them. Victoria comes over and tells them about Ana singing at the gala. Sabrina agrees to it and walks away. Victor asks to speak to his daughter alone. He tells her that Reed will always be provided for but her behavior has upset him a great deal and she and Nicholas are cut out of his will.
Back at Crimson Lights, Victoria tells her mother what Victor has done. Nikki is furious and strides over to him, asking him not to strike out like this. "Our children have treated me with disdain and contempt. No one gets away with that," he states. "What's next? Are you going to ask them to give back all the gifts you've given them?" she asks. He gruffly bites at her, grumbling about David and everything else before he walks off.
Daniel arrives at the ranch at Sabrina's invitation. He hands her his portfolio and she shows it to Victor. He's not terribly interested. She tells Daniel she will send them off tonight. He asks if he can sketch her and she agrees, as long as she can surprise Victor with it. After Daniel leaves, Victor tells her that he's changed his will. She doesn't want to talk about it. He explains that Adam, Abby, their child and the grandchildren will be taken care of, just not Vikki and Nick. Sabrina protests but Victor says no one disrespects him and gets away with it.
At the ranch, Sabrina tries to write a letter to Victoria. Victor reads the letter and tells her how sorry he is about all of this. He offers to call some journalists and sort this out. She doesn't want a family fight in the press. "There's hardly a family left," he sighs. Their family will just be them and the baby. They embrace. She has a nap. When she wakes up, he has a new idea: Announcing the happy news about the baby. She wants to keep it quiet. He offers to fly her anywhere in the world. She reminds him that they have to show a proud face. After she hurries off to work, he calls Michael. He wants to slap the magazine with a lawsuit. After hanging up, his son walks in and tells him that he has pulled all of Newman's advertising from the magazine. They are both hunting for Adrian and Victor wants all of the other advertisers contacted and dealt with.
Michael arrives at the ranch. Victor announces that he will lay a libel suit on the magazine and bury them in legal fees. He wants everything in the article checked. Michael leaves to get to work. Adam tells his father that Nikki likely won't withdraw her ads from the magazine. Victor threatens to bury everyone who doesn't. Michael soon returns after setting all the fact checkers to work. Victor asks his son to leave and tells Michael he wants to change his will. The children he raised have betrayed him. Michael encourages him to talk to them and think it over. Victor doesn't need to think: He wants the will changed now. Nick and Victoria are completely pushed out of the will. He calls in some servants to witness him signing the document.
Nick arrives at the ranch late and Victor is waiting up for him. He tells him to get his bags and get out.
