Downstairs at the Ranch, Victor admits to himself that deep down he still loves Nikki. There is a knock on the door - it's Colleen. She tells Victor that she wants to discuss unfinished business.
Paul, at the Ranch, confronts Victor about bringing Patty back to town as Mary Jane. Victor won't admit it, and Adam tells Paul he'd better have proof if he wants to make allegations like this! Paul tells Adam to stay out of it, and Victor sends him out of the room. Paul says that everything that Patty has done as she has spun out of control is on his head! They bicker over whether or not Victor could be behind Mary Jane coming back to town. Paul angrily tears up as he says this is all because of his sick need for revenge on Jack - he knew Patty could spiral out of control and he didn't care! Victor remarks that Jack hasn't paid - and Mary Jane has wreaked havoc on his family. He warns Paul that he'd better hope he finds his sister before he does! Victor then tells Paul that he didn't even recognize his own sister - he's come there because he failed as an investigator and as a brother. Paul tells Victor that he took Patty and made her into a loaded weapon, pointing her directly at Jack - it's sick! Victor tells him they're done - he should go find his sister, and then not let her out of his sight!
Adam answers the door to the Ranch - it's his new lawyer! Victor listens as the lawyer tells him that he hopes to get Adam off house arrest, by getting Victor to sign off on it. Victor tells him to draw up the papers and he'll sign. He then steps outside and calls Jeffrey. He tells him to bring Mary Jane to him and he'll get his money. Jeff wants to deal.
Phyllis and Summer arrive at the Ranch. Victor greets them and gives Summer a gift. She runs off to open it, and Victor asks Phyllis how things are going. She notes it's been very difficult with Summer, and says it's all due to the actions of Mary Jane Benson, or Patty Williams. Victor doesn't react, and Phyllis wonders why he doesn't seem shocked at her calling her by the name Patty?! Victor takes a phone call, then turns back to Phyllis, who confronts him about being behind Patty's transformation. Noah comes into the room, and Summer has also returned. Victor asks Noah to take Summer to play. Phyllis tells Victor that Jack tipped her off. She pleads with Victor to tell her that this isn't true! Victor says he had no part of bringing Mary Jane to town, and notes that he wants to put her behind bars more than anyone! Phyllis believes him, and mentions that she hasn't even been able to talk to Nick about this - he's locked in at the facility with Sharon. Noah comes back in and hears. Victor goes to make a call. Noah says he can see that Phyllis is nervous about Nick being there - he doesn't blame her! He says he just wants them all to get their acts together and stop hurting each other! Phyllis says she wants that too, but she's learned she can only control her own actions.
Victor walks Phyllis and Summer to the door of the Ranch. Noah answers questions from Adam about the facility Sharon is in before leaving the room. At the front door, Victor leaves a message for Bardwell saying that he had better hear from him soon. He steps back inside, where Adam rants about how they need to catch Mary Jane. He is interrupted by someone shouting and pounding on the door - it's Paul! He pushes in past Victor and demands to know what he did to his sister!
Victor comforts Ashley in her room as she wakes up having just had another nightmare about Sabrina taking her baby. Victor thinks back to Jack's warning about Ashley needing help! Adam is also there, listening as Ashley exclaims that Sabrina is trying to take Victor too! Adam says her imagination is just working overtime. He offers to call Dr. Taylor, but Victor dismisses the idea and sends Adam back to his own room. Victor turns back to Ashley and stresses to her that Sabrina is dead. Ash doesn't want to discuss it. When he keeps pushing the point, Ashley says she has seen Sabrina in the house - and she's not going to stop until she has the baby, and has him back! Victor grabs her and leads her out of the room - he's going to show her something!
Downstairs at the Ranch, Victor sits Ashley down on the sofa, then orders Adam out of the room when he repeatedly asks Ashley if she needs him! Victor then shows her the clippings about Sabrina's death. Adam stands up in the stairwell listening, as Ashley argues with Victor that people can fake their deaths. Victor tells her that he was with Sabrina when she died! He says he dreamed about Sabrina and had visions of her too - he knows what she is going through - but she must understand that Sabrina is truly dead. Ashley seems to believe him. She says it out loud. Victor hugs her and she heads upstairs. Once she's gone, Victor turns on the TV to catch the latest on the situation with Mary Jane.
At the Ranch, as Victor watches Jack double the reward on television, Adam sneaks into Ashley's room to talk to her. She asks how he could have led her to believe that Sabrina was still alive! He flounders, and she kicks him out of her room!
Jeffrey and Gloria arrive at the Ranch with the photo of Victor and Mary Jane. Victor seems amused as they wonder about the implications of him being associated with her! They threaten to take it to the tabloids, and Victor starts dialing the police! They say this isn't over, but Victor says it was over before they got to the door - he orders them out and they grudgingly leave.
JT pays a visit to Victor. He tells him that Mary Jane has been found and it turns out she is actually Patty Williams. Victor pretends to be amazed. JT says she didn't have the money or power to make the changes that she's undergone. JT proposes that Victor helped create Mary Jane to get back at Jack. He says he unleashed a mad woman on his family! Victor says JT is one to talk about family. JT replies that Victor should have spoken to him before showing those photos to Victoria - he could have saved her a lot of hurt. Victor says he's no longer welcome in his home!
