Victor is Arrested!

J.T. arrives at Crimson Lights and approaches Paul saying he needs to know what he can tell him about David Chow. Paul asks who wants him to pursue this. J.T. hesitates to name Victor, but Paul guesses. J.T. tries to defend Victor's reasons for investigating David, but Paul warns him that Victor has no right to dig in David's background. He warns J.T. that Victor Newman is ruthless, "Don't get in the middle of that divorce!" J.T. listens but admits he intends to continue investigating David. Paul tells him to be very careful - Victor has a lot at stake! J.T. leaves and Heather and Maggie come in. Paul says he was just headed out, but he could stay. Heather and Maggie brush him off, saying they have police business to discuss and he reluctantly leaves. Maggie says, "I think he'd do just about anything to stay here." Heather says to herself, "He's about twenty years too late." Once they are seated with coffee, Jack crosses their path, warning them jovially to act fast against Victor before he goes off to the south of France! Suddenly, Jack gets a call and arranges a meeting for one hour's time - at the Club!

Family and friends say goodbye to John Abbott.

In her office, Nikki calls Hope, asking where Victor is. Hope tells her that he's too late, he has left and she doesn't know the name of the monastery that Victor is staying at. She agrees that she'll call if Victor calls her. Nikki thanks her, and they hang up.

Time is running out.

Hope walks into her kitchen to find Victor, on the kitchen floor, having an Epileptic Fit. She goes to him, asking if he's okay, but Victor has no idea of what just happened, and refuses Hope's offer to call an ambulance. He's very confused, doesn't know how he got there, and assumes that he was simply clumsy and fell. Hope is skeptical, asking him if he's sick, wondering what's going on.

Hope makes victor a cup of tea, and insists he tell her the truth about himself. He admits that he is ill, but that it is not life threatening. He wanted to come to say his goodbyes to her, as he's scared. He feels that there is so much more that he needs to find out about himself...¦. He wants to know the meaning of it all, but doesn't know what is happening to him. Victor starts to fade out as Hope asks him about the disease, and his medication. He hears beautiful music, a single guitar. Hope doesn't hear the music, thinking it was only meant for Victor's ears, pondering if it was a quest, meant for him to look for spirituality.

Victor leaves Hope's home, telling her he has no idea how long he will be gone. She lets him know how glad she is that he stopped by, and she tells him that she prays he finds what he is searching for.
