The Young and the Restless - MESSAGE BOARDS

Good afternoon, Lily and Cane! I gotta admit that your scenes in today's episode were great! Y&R finally hired a writer who wrote some decent scenarios with great dialogue for Lily and Cane! UNBELIEVABLE! HOORAY FOR THAT WRITER!! You reminded me of the old Lily and Cane in this episode more than any other episodes in the last year. I always enjoyed their understated, subtle and sometime overt humor, but it was not always subtle today! Much of it made me laugh out loud! Too bad Roxie and Devon showed up today; they should have been coming around more often before now.

BUT I must be "Debbie Downer" for a moment! The scenes appeared at the OPENING to grab the interested viewers attention to say: LILY & CANE ARE ON Y&R TODAY!! THEN we get to see them midway right before and right after the halftime commercials to say: Hold it, they are back on again; you can't turn that dial yet! OOOOOKay! I will keep looking. Then Lily and Cane appear near the end in an afterglow scene which says: You gotta stay to the end, we are not done yet!! I LOVED IT!! The sequential spacing of their scenes in any episode is always the same and is always funny to me.

The ratings for this episode ought to be great! LANE fans were hungry for Lily & Cane and I'll bet there was an extra large number tuning in to see our favorite couple on screen.

Their time on screen was short but effective. Y&R gets more bang for their buck out of this couple than any other. Lily and Cane do in 5 minutes & 59 seconds what it takes most other couple several episodes to do--namely, engage their audience!! Folks, I finally enjoyed a total episode (since last August, 2008) that I would revisit!

I have to post some more about these wonderful scenes of Cane and Lily's that aired today. Like I said in another thread I loved every part of their scenes but there was one in particular that made me swoon. It's not one that anyone else would probably pick. It wasn't Roxy/Devon which was comical. It wasn't the love scenes which were beautiful. Nor the longing stares which were sensual. I enjoyed all these. But for me it was when Lily shut and locked the door and Cane picked her up and carried her to their bedroom. I have seen him pick her up and carry her many times. But this one to me was just special. It looked to me like he had finally gotten what he desired and was carrying his prize. He had labored so hard for this moment and he finally got to carry his precious bride to the bedroom he had been shut out of for weeks. I remember him saying to PC3, that all he wanted was to be with Lily again and that he would do anything for that to happen. Well he got his wish and so did we. Lane back together and Lily with her rings back on her finger. Long Live Lane

I am going to watch a second time. This time, I can FF thru all the other stuff to just get from the opening scene to the middle scenes and to the ending scenes. Don't care about whats in between; I will leave that to the ones who do. HELLO, Lily and Cane!

Cane and Lily brought their A-game today! Every thing I love about these two was shown in different segments.The longing look Cane gave Lily set things off, and as predicted, Lily initiated the bald luvin'. They had comedy too, the way Lily not so subtlely husseled Roxy and Devon the heck out the door was hilarious!
And finally that sweet Lanex. YIPPEE!

The scenes between Cane and Lily were pure perfection.
The only problem I had was their scene were to short, and we had to wait to long between scene. They have to be without a doubt the most romantic couple in day time. No couple does it better. Can't wait until tomorrow we get to see them again. Love the scene with Devon and Roxy, you think they caught the hint.

i love the scene when they were being all gooey in front of neil, talking about pot roast. the look on neil's face was hilarious. i think he is finally ready to accept cane again.

Well, well, well, where do I begin. CKH and DG were fabulous. I know they're acting but they have "crazy chemistry". I don't think there is another couple in soaps that compares to these two. They are extremely gorgeous and talented. These scenes just ignited the hunger we Laners have been craving. The performances knocked it out of the ball park. I could feel Cane's desire for Lily when he held her hand as he gave her the med's. You could feel the passion pop of the screen between both of them. I love how Lily has matured to where she states what she wants and doesn't back down. She told him how she missed those looks. You could also see Cane's reluctance to make love to Lily because he didn't know if it was too soon. This man wanted his wife sooo bad, yet he never pressured her because her health was his main priority. These two personify love, joy, sensuality, sexiness, and humor("just to name a few attributes"). I love how Lily initiated the bald love by asking Cane if she had to make the first moves; and then the kissing began; yet suddenly what's that sound, "IS IT A BIRD, A PLANE, LIONS, AND TIGERS, AND BEARS, OH MY IT'S ROXANNE AND DEVON DISTURBING THE LOVE ZONE"!!! Cane was rubbing on Lily and focusing on her so hard that he didn't even hear "clueless Devon". I laughed my butt off during this portion of the scene coupled with Lily yawning. Lily was thinking "I Love You Guys, but You Got To Get The Hell Up Out Of Here"! Finally, the caressing, and kissing along with Cane continuing to support Lily's self esteem by telling her how beautiful she was brought tears to my eyes. I have loved this couple from the beginning, but their love for each other has deepened through all these crazy storylines. Cane(DG) and Lily (CKH), you're the BEST!!!

Laners, we are being treated to some of the best work to date by our supercouple. The Tuesday epi was filled with humor and that much anticipated bald loving . Today (Wednesday) was more Lane goodness with canoodling and talks of pot roast. The most powerful epi happens in the Thursday US epi, dont worry I'll save my comments on that one for tomorrow. DG and CKH are given short spans of time but I must say they make the most of it. Excellent job by both of them this week as always !

:-) OH MY GOSH! Wait till you see tomorrows eppy! This just gets better and better. Cane has a breakdown tomorrow that rips your heart out!! Never fear tho, we all know Lily is going to make it. They just have to throw in a little more angst before they let them be happy. These two are so awesome. I can't stop watching them. Love, love, love them.

Good afternoon, Cane & Lily! Just viewed the video clips for tomorrow's US episode. I am blown away again. Hope there is a great outcome for the whole storyline. I just want some happiness, normalcy and peace in Lily and Cane's lives. I am at present watchng today's episode so I will come back a little later. Long live Lily and Cane! Nobody does love and romance better in the afternoon than they do! Luv ya!

It's so sweet to see Cane and Lily having arrived at the point they are at now in their relationship. They have reconciled completely and they're back to being happy and affectionate . The past two epis with Lane have been great. This is the couple that all Lane fans know and love, and root so passionately for. I know a crisis is on the way for our fav couple, but their unwaivering love will see them through I so adore watching this couple, I can't wait for more goodness
