The Cane and Lily fight was awful and wonderful all at the same time. The one thing that comes across quite clearly with this s/l, is the love and passion that these two have for and towards one another. I'm so looking forward to the road back to a united Lane |

I loved the fight today! I just love the passion! I thought DG's veins were going to pop out of his neck. Lily really ask some hard questions for Cane to answer. I hated Neal showing up he stopped them from fighting and then making up! I know Neal is for the added angst, but they need to be locked in a room and fight it out to the end and end up making baby Ashby! Love Lane! |

If Neil had just delayed his beating down Cane's door for a mere 10 minutes more, Lily and Cane would be smooching right Now! That was one of those intense fights that leads to something! This one was better and more intense than the one at the CL. On a brighter note, once I get thru it, I hope to forget that this storyline was ever written and acted out just like I erased all memories of any details of the WTD storyline. Linking the two was a drastic mistake for the writers and painful for the viewers to watch. Cane cannot possibly be the reason for everyone else's shortcomings, lies, errors in judgment, and destrutive behaviors. Cane is love and not destruction! |

Given all we now know how do yall now view the early clips of Lane? Are we suppose to ignore them and start fresh? Also, what are the chances of a baby Ashby? I would love to hear my fellow Laners thoughts. |

Lanefan, when this storyline is over and I have had ample time to forget that it ever happened, those early clips are the ones I want to cling to and to keep in my memory. These two characters were so well defined, their journey from friendship to love to marriage was so rare and beautiful, and their chemistry was so undeniable that it is hard for MAB to kill that in my memory. The crappy writing, dialogue, and storylines that we have had to endure since last August have put me in a coma. When LANE survives this mess, I want to forget that Chloegate, WTD custody battle, and PC3 ever existed. The superb acting is what is carrying me thru this crap right now! I would have walked away from Y&R if it had not been for the excellent performances of CK and DG! They sucked me right back in. This is the only weapon that MAB has to keep this show alive and she is hell bent on destroying it. Would anyone pay Nina and PC3 any attention if LANE were not involved? She had better start nurturing them b/c she cannot just trot them out and use them whenever she needs them b/c of their popularity or huge fanbase. I am glad that they are part of a frontburner storyline, but the writing is holey, holey, holey! What other couple could have drawn this much attention to this storyline? Chilly? |

Lanefan, I just cannot see Cane doing any of these things that he is being accused of doing. It is just not the personality that I have come to know and love. MAB is doing a hatchet job on this character and I want to forget every bit of the writing that she has done for Cane and Lily. |
