Hi fellow lane fans:
This s/l has me sitting on the edge of my seat. The acting of both DG and CK is outstanding. You can feel what he feels, and you can see his wife wanting to know, and wanting to help him. I think we are in for some huge surprises, but as long as they are together it will be okay.

lol It's not that deep just an unbiased opinion. I don't post to much on this mb I just read it but if I see any poster say "Lily without Cane won't fly CK's Lily is over they mine as well kill her off" which was what I was responding to only it was Cane I'm gonna say something what I was simply trying to say and I say this hypothetically if Cane and Lily weren't together I would still enjoy both actors/characters which is probably what I shoud've just said in the first place I do think both Cane&Lily are both strong viable characters in their own right also is that not allowed in this thread I personally don't want to see Cane&Lily paired with anyone else and if it was up to Me they wouldn't be but if they were I would hate it but hypothetically speaking I would still enjoy both actors it is a soap after all and I'm not going to defend my Lily/Lane fan status again lol I thought I could be a Lane fan and be objective too, what exactly in my post came off like I'm only a Cane fan and bashing Lily?


Anyways with that said Lane isn't going anywhere anytime soon Cane&Lily are the best thing Y&R has going on and I'm a Ride or Die Lane fan all the way always have been always will be bump!!!!

Good morning my fellow Lane Lovers, getting ready for work but I just had to peek and see. You know its getting really good, and I cannot wait for an explanation for everything going on especially the dna matching billys. I hope the writers don't leave us hanging on this. Its way to many loop holes that are clearly evident. Remember, the dna matching Billy needs to be explained in a major way. But you know what, Cane and Lily rock even when there is angst in the mist of them. Waiting, just waiting.

Good morning Laners I’m sorry for this rant this morning but I am so frustrated and annoyed at the direction Cane’s s/l seems to be headed. The more I watch the promo where Cane admits he’s not Jill’s son, the angrier I get. Do the writers realize the implications here? Based on what we’ve seen so far (Cane knows PC3 is alive, Cane switches the vials of blood, Cane confirming that he is NOT Jill’s son and the spoilers confirms that PC3 blood is a match to Jill). I know tptb says that there are lots of twists and turns (I am not a writer) but right now I honestly don’t see how they are going to explain the Delia s/l. If Billy is truly Delia's dad (and that's a BIG IF) then the DNA says that Cane is related to Billy somehow. Where is the connection? I certainly hope there is more to this story than meets the eye because right now it makes absolutely no sense. Deli'a paternity needs to be dealt with. Forgive me for the rant this morning but this is garbage and it really gets my goat that tptb have decided to go this route.

Once again sorry but I needed to get this off of my chest. Thank you for listening and I do feel a lot better now.

Just come in to show love to my fav and staying to watch this s/l to the end,it is like reading a mystery novel cannot wait to get to the end.

Wouldn't it be great if this were a novel? I know I would have to flip to the last page, oh well, I guess the fun of being a fan is going through the ups and downs daily---or whenever they happen to be on air, lol.
BTW Phackfan, I'm happy that you are on board with us, its always good to see another Laner . Whether you liked Cane first or Lily first is of no importance. They are both great additions to the show, they have supercouple chemistry, and they make anybody else they work with look good also. Oh yeah, I'm a Phyllis and Jack fan too. Happy posting!

Dear Lane fans to say I am stunned and speechless over recent spoilers that have come to light, is putting it mildly. Right now I can not think of better words to describe the depth of my feelings right now! MAB has set out from the start with her own agenda and that was to destroy anything that LML created...unfortunantely for us Lane fans LML created our super couple Lane!!

Right from the start MAB tried to break this couple apart while subsequently building her own super couple! She tried to switch Cane's feelings by warming him up to Chloe after they were married...fans were not buying this...she put Lily and Billy together...some fans were not buying this, while others jumped ship and became the infamous "Lilliam fans"! Then she pushed Billy and Chloe down our throats and used Lily and Cane to prop them and still no super couple...now she is pushing Billy and Mac and getting ready to push Chloe and the new P4!!

BUT she needed to subdue our super couple Lane's status and what better way to destroy them to have fans question Cane's love and loyalty to Lily. MAB knew by just de-Chancelloring him would not send fans packing and destoy them so she comes up with the BIGGEST LIE OF ALL that Cane knew from the beginning that Billy was Chloe's baby father...all the months of hell we saw Lily and Cane go through..the sheer misery on that man's face when he married Chloe COULD NOT BE FAKED!!

MAB threw us Lane fans a bone with the wedding, knowing all along that she was planning this back in February to do this to our couple!! We all saw Cane get his cheek swabbed, the only person who gave blood was Chloe BUT we are supposed to forget this...MAB has gone TOO FAR this time!! She is truly insulting the viewers memory and intelligence...she could not come up with a plausible explaination why Cane and Billy's DNA was in the matching group, so she rewrites HER OWN story line with this crap!!! GMAFB!!! In the process destroying the integrity and the trust of Cane's love for Lily!! I BEG LANE FANS to please let MAB know that this is not acceptable to treat us...Loyal fans and viewers this way!! Totally unacceptable!! She fixed it that Cane is almost beyond redemption, based on everything that happened in the those 8 months if it was all a lie!! AND giving Lily cancer is NOT the way to fix this crap of mess...there has to be a way to restore the honor to this man and to this relationship other than a cancer story line!! Plus in the script we saw, we don't even know that was Cane sitting by Lily's bed in the hopsital...it could be Neil or even Malcolm...I do not put anything past MAB and I will never trust her to write good things for Lane ever again!! I will be sending emails and letters everyday until either this is fixed, Cane is redeemed or there is no more Lane for me to write about! MY HEART IS BREAKING OVER THIS...LOYAL LAN FAN FOREVER!!!

I am very upset and disappointed by this as well fineladydee. MAB wrote herself into a corner with the Dehlia s/l and now she decides to take the easy way out. All I'm determined to do at this point is to keep supporting Lane and move forward. At this point as Lane fans, I think we should always be in the mode of expecting the unexpected.

I feel the frustration too. MAB didn't even let the wedding day come and go before hinting at trouble ahead. I try very hard to stay positive, reminding myself that nothing could be as bad as last summer---babytrap. I've started avoiding the spoilers because each one seems to get sadder than the one before. Why bother with a big wedding, reception and honeymoon if the couple isn't allowed to make it through 2 short months? My judgement has been clouded for the other couple-Chloe and Billy-because they only exist at the expense of Lane. I never found Lily and Billy or Cane and Chloe viable, I found something else to do during their time. This is a soap so I am not unrealistic, I know couples go through break-ups but it is obvious that tptb are trying to destroy the loyalty of Cane/Lane supporters. Other duos on Y&R are given looooooooooong stretches of happy time. That's the end of my rant. I will expect the unexpected. As long as Lily and Cane are on the show I will always be one of their biggest fans. Lane is my endgame !

I'm not happy with this aspect of it either and I truly wish it had been written differently,but I don't think we should be too shocked, this is all par for the course. Hello Fineladydee, I totally agree with every word you have said. But do you mind my asking, where is this script you are talking about toward the end of your post? Can anyone see it?, do you mind sharing? or can you share it with us?

Charme, I have always expected the unexpected in this soap. Reality is none, nothing makes sense at all. But it is a shame that the writers cannot even come together to create a plausable storyline, its a shame. I expected more from at least the head-writers. And, you know what, if there is angst among the writers, then this is why the story is going like it is. Also, charme I read somewhere that the writers do care about the viewers opinions and what they think, apparently not. I also read somthing once that the lanefans are whiners, and this ran me very hot! But I choose not to get into all of that. I deeply feel that if things don't get better, Y&R could be damaged. And I say this due to many comments on the board regarding the senseless storylines. Maybe the writers don't care, you think?
