Well things are heating up this summer for my fav couple Cane and LIly and I'm loving it so far |
I sure can't wait to find out Cane's true identity and see how these two work their way through thier problems

Charme, ITA. My wish is that they work out their problems together as husband and wife. I truly hope their beautiful vows come into play and when all is said and done their love for each other is deeper and stronger, everlasting and true love. |

You know I'm sitting here reading these excellent and well written posts and this thought popped into my mind. TPTB sure haven’t given you any time at all to enjoy your beautiful married life together, have they? After waiting two years and four proposals later, you are smack dab in the middle of possibly your most trying and difficult obstacles that you will probably face as husband and wife. I sure hope at the end of these roller coaster rides that MAB and company has excellent rewards for you (one being Mrs Ashby pregnant with twins, of course) because after this you have a right to expect everlasting happiness and the joy of looking forward to getting the Ashby/Winters legacy started. |

Can someone fill me in on the back story of Nina? My Y&R history goes back only 3 years, I have picked up tidbits of info but some of it is mixed so I don't know what to believe. Is Nina a harmless reporter or is she the first Chloe? My memory was a bit fuzzy on Nina. But one of the posters set me straight. What I do remember is she was a total B!tch. Always fighting with Jill. And Jill and Mrs. C fought all the time also. So poor Phillip had a bunch of quarreling women around him all the time who couldn't get along. Nina was a friend of Christine's(aka. Crickett)who Phillip at the time was dating and going to marry. She got him drunk or took advantage of him while he was drunk. Got him to impregnate her. He wanted to do the right thing, and married her instead of Christine. Nina wanted him because he was a Chancellor and she wanted the name and all the money that went along with being Phillips wife. I believe part of the reason he left was his Mother,Stepmother and wife just made the man miserable. |

It sounds like a repeat of Cane and Chloe last summer, only difference is Cane never actually had sex with Chloe. I wonder if the writers did a complete rewrite of Nina the way they did Chloe, making everything she did for the child and not for her own greedy, scheming self. I am still looking forward to this s/l, I just hope tptb don't spotlight everybody else while ignoring Lane the way they did last summer. The true Lily and Cane fans will stick by this couple but the ones on the fence may be swayed if the writing is geared toward those who want Lane apart. Long Live Lane

Anny, I agree Ninas gold was to tag a chancellor at whatever cost and while pretending to be Crickets friend, just like Chloe pretended to be Lilys' friend. Seems like a double take on the storylines to me. Anyway, Ninas motives today are basically the same, when Cane was announced the true Phillip3, she and her son was de-throned and she is making a stink about it. As one poster said, if my son was ill, Cane would be the least of my worries if I was truly legit. But doesn't she already have money from the her previous schemes which caused p3 to marry her in the first place. I cannot wait for Canes paternity test, it is suppose to surprise Nina, and I am so curious as to how it is going to turn out. |

Auntirhee, I was starting to get down a bit myself so I refueled by going over to utube and watched some of the early clips of Lane. That did the trick! I am raring to see this s/l take shape now. I am glad DG gives the fans hope for the future. |

I saw that some Shick fans said they were boycotting the show so maybe Lane fans decided to follow their lead. I know the show has been dull as dishwater these last several days but we could help each other through the lean days by sharing our personal views of our couple. Long Live Lane! Dull as dishwaster!! Lanefan you crack me up, I am holding my side on this one!!Anywho..I just responded to daniels post regarding tweeter, it really made me feel good to see a post from him. I was tickled pink!! And, as far as the boycotting, I will not be a part of that my goodness, its just a soap. Watch if you want to, don't watch if you don't Ge-e-e-z-e

And DG stated that there will be some bumps in Cane and Lilys marriage but it will be ok, I'm holding on to that and hope I don't get disappointed.  Have you heard anything from Ms Supersuds? She has not been on the boards for about a week or two. That is not like her. Hope she returns soon. |

Aunthiree, did DG actually said that Cane and Lily's marriage will be ok? I asked because I read a spoiler for the week of July 6th and it says Lily give her ring back to Cane.
