I would think in today's economy soap actors would stick with what they have, especially if you're part of a super couple on a #1 show! So I'm thinking and hoping for that this is an unfounded rumor because as you said I don't know how I could watch the show without Lily and Cane being together..they have a special magic that shines more than any other pairing on this show! Heres hoping to many more years of Lane! Pushing this couple back to the top where they belong! |

I miss you two today. We really had a great feast of Lane last week! I totally enjoyed it. But I am not complaining because I have great memories of each day you were on. The affection, the touching, the kissing, the undeniable love and the friendship. Loved when Cane confided some of his childhood pain to Lily! Loved when Lily listened closely and reassured Cane of her love. I loved when Lily apologized for not being pregnant and Cane ask her why would she apologize and reassured her that it would happen. What a beautiful marriage and how beautiful it is to see two pple in love. Long Live Lane! |

As I was scrolling through the different threads in search of this one, I noticed a few negative threads on Lily-one on Cane and another on Cane and Lily...I could not help but smile, for a couple that is supposedly so "boring" they sure create alot of conversation |

She went on the internet looking for a woman by the name of Violet. Cane was on the internet looking for his mother stating he was adopted by a woman whose name was Violet Montgomery. They arranged to meet. Amber had an alterer motive. She wanted to become a Chancelor with money, so she manipulated Cane and the entire situation to the point of marrying him before she told him who his mother might possibly be. Gotcha!! I concur, I don't think he is going to use it, and this will be the surprise that will crack Ninas' face!! And yes I agree again, I don't think he knows who he is, only what he has been told. On the other hand, I read an article in SID where they interviewed Daniel Goddard (Cane). He said the s/l will have twists and turns, but he could not divulge anything. He said Lily and Cane will have bumps in their marriage, but its okay. My take on all of this is a wait and see. Cane is not a bad guy, just a part of a plot hatched by Phillip and whoever aided him to disappear, which was 20 years ago. Who had the money and the opportunity to help him? I think Katherine knows more than what she is saying. She knew that casket was empty. Her expressions said it all. She also stated Cane only knew what he was told. I do not know whether Cane will use the vial of blood he has of Phillips. I don't think so. I think he is tired of the deception. He did not run because of his love for Lily, and their wedding vows. I am going to wait and see. I love them both, and want Lane together.

I would really hate for GC residents to label him a liar and and a con man, but no matter what happens I will always love Cane. but what I don't understand is y do the writers continue to write him in a light that could possibly damage his character some more. I'm assuming that they actually want us to believe that had Lily not came back to the bar, Cane would have ran out on her, leaving her with nothing. I mean he was taking all the money in safe. That's why he was thinking about his vows to Lily...it just made me angry that the writers implyed that he would leave (giving Lane haters more fodder to talk about)! Over at SoapCentral there is a thread about extinction of a core family and it is over 14 pages long...so my hope is that the lurking writers will tell MAB that the fans are pissed about the possiblity of Lily never being able to have children and this s/l will change to just difficulty for her to have children...then voila "MIRACLE LANE BABY"! I'm hanging in with love and support for Lane and hoping that Cane is really that good guy that we know and love and he just got entangled in P3's mess! Hoping to see Lane for a long time on my screen! Love this beautiful couple! Yes, I do too. I love them. They haven't been on for two days and I feel lost soul. But you know what, we shouldn't complain because we had them five days last week. That was awesome, and I believe a first. Anyway, Lane is just beautiful and addictive (this is a good addiction). I just love how they love each other. |

I really think Cane is a good guy and truly loves his family and Lily. Otherwise he wouldn't look like he is about to fall apart. I believe he will be found out to be related in someway to Jill and PC3 and Billy. We just have to go through this roller coaster ride before we can actually know what is going on. Just strap yourself in because it's going to get bumpy. |

I too had to smile when I see the amount of threads on Cane and Lily, they are sure is a couple that can create a buzz. And you can know when they are not on, the mb go quiet or poster just put up a thread with their names and the mb comes alive again. |
