G4666, I agree with you 100% on this one, Neil, Devon and Colleen if she is back will try their best to prevent Cane from seeing Lily. But he is her husband and they have no right to do it with their self rightous behinds!! Everyone makes mistakes and all of Canes mistakes are due to what happened with him regarding the baby switch if it was one . Neil and Devon has always clouded lilys thinking when it comes to Cane. I hope what is happening to she and Cane matures her evern more and she will get these two and Colleen out of her business. But we know the pen has to write it this way.

So, I guess no one knew the answer to my question. The reason I ask was because I was told by a source that Amber found him on the internet and I wanted to know if this was true thats all? I know it had something to do with her overhearing Mrs. C and Jill talking about it, I think, I really don't remember because I just was not that interested then. YOu know, I read a thread where someone said they don't understand why people get so upset over drama on soaps which was kind of funny to me, but I think what the problem is, they do not let people stay happy long. And I know in reality, people are happy a lot longer in real life than on these soaps.

Ladies, I believe today was one of those days that we will remember for a while. Lily was doing her best to reasure Cane of her love for him. I was so glad to see her come back to the bar, I know she said she had a craving for take-out but something about that hot kiss must have stuck with her enough to check back with Cane. He was looking at his passport when we saw him in the Friday epi so Lily coming back to his biz must have stopped him from running off. These moments may be in flashbacks in the not to distant future. Anyway, I loved when Lily said that the food they had ordered was heaven as she fed him, aaaahhh! Little moments like this keep me Luvin' Lane Always.

Auntirhee: I am going to try to answer your question about how Cane and Amber hooked up. Amber did overhear Mrs. C and Jill about the dreams Kay was having. She went on the internet looking for a woman by the name of Violet. Cane was on the internet looking for his mother stating he was adopted by a woman whose name was Violet Montgomery. They arranged to meet. Amber had an alterer motive. She wanted to become a Chancelor with money, so she manipulated Cane and the entire situation to the point of marrying him before she told him who his mother might possibly be.

On the other hand, I read an article in SID where they interviewed Daniel Goddard (Cane). He said the s/l will have twists and turns, but he could not divulge anything. He said Lily and Cane will have bumps in their marriage, but its okay. My take on all of this is a wait and see. Cane is not a bad guy, just a part of a plot hatched by Phillip and whoever aided him to disappear, which was 20 years ago. Who had the money and the opportunity to help him? I think Katherine knows more than what she is saying. She knew that casket was empty. Her expressions said it all. She also stated Cane only knew what he was told. I do not know whether Cane will use the vial of blood he has of Phillips. I don't think so. I think he is tired of the deception. He did not run because of his love for Lily, and their wedding vows. I am going to wait and see. I love them both, and want Lane together.

Here showing my love and support for Cane and Lily! Today's episode was hard to watch in some parts and other parts I loved. Anytime Cane and Lily are together and loving each other is great but my heart is breaking for this man who is so torn apart by guilt and fear! It was wonderful to hear Lily reassuring him over and over that she will love him regardless of his being a Chancellor or not...so why was Cane still thinking of leaving the love of his life? There is so much more going on than we know or he would just take the test knowing if it proves him not to be a Chancellor he could be done with the lies and deception and Lily would still be there loving him.

The one thing I do know without a doubt is how much Cane loves Lily, no matter who he is this will not change BUT WTH is MAB doing to the character of Cane? In some parts he is almost unrecognizable as the man we all adore..the Cane we know is honorable and decent (he does not lie and hates when someone lies to him), I have to ask when this is all done how will they be able to redeem him?!!!

Lastly, my fear now is that this cancer story is more than just for angst..there were a couple of months ago a blind riddle by NB asking... what producer was thinking of killing off a popular heroine? This was asked after it was divulged that Shemar Moore was coming back for a sad event when a tragedy strikes someone close to the Winters. At the time if everyone will remember, I posted I was afraid that this was Lily because her contract is coming up for renewal in September. Now a poster at SoapCentral said that Lily wanted out to be a mom and wife in her real life. So now with them giving her ovarian cancer, which has a very low survival rate, I'm really afraid of Lily dying. This may not be about making her barren but giving her a way off the show! With all these questions it is making it hard to watch but I adore this couple so I am trying to be positive and hope for the best. I just keep thinking about Cane's kiss with Lily and it makes me want more Lane! Hoping Lane is together for a very long time...Forever Lane Fan!

Fineladydee, I hope that this is just a rumor too! If Christel leaves then that would be my last day watching the show, I would wish her and her husband well but selfishly I would not want her to go. If DG were to leave I would feel the same way.
MAB has got a good building block for Lane to become the next supercouple. They could be the ones that defy all odds to be together for years to come. I am excited to see how it unfolds. Long Live Lane .

Switching gears a little bit now. I would love that after all of this that Cane is who he says he is. I would really hate for GC residents to label him a liar and and a con man, but no matter what happens I will always love Cane. but what I don't understand is y do the writers continue to write him in a light that could possibly damage his character some more. I'm assuming that they actually want us to believe that had Lily not came back to the bar, Cane would have ran out on her, leaving her with nothing. I mean he was taking all the money in safe. I remember when Cane told Neil that he intended to take care of Lily all on his own. Now, he was considering leaving. This s/l makes no sense. We have seen overwhelming evidence that Cane really loves Lily and we know that he would never leave her.

You two are smoking up my screen. Cane in that tight blue shirt and Lily in that red top and short skirt, they are too pretty for words.
