There are less painful or deadly ways to reunite this couple. I am; however, glad that Lily and Cane are together again and reconnecting--no matter what brought them together! The writers should be ashamed of using Lily to make what they have done to her OK and palatable to viewers again. Hope that it gets the results from viewers that they so desperately sought. Hey party, I did not receive an e-mail from you. What should I look for? What is your e-mail address? I hear you 'Suds, but I think what the statement meant was that Cane would have left GC if he hadnt found out Lily was ill and maybe they wouldnt have their second chance? That's the only thing I can think of right now (my thinking cap is not that great at the moment) I always hope that he would have come back at last minute if things had played differently, anyway, guess we will never know for sure but I absolutley refuse to think he would have just left, just like that! Lanealways, I think that Cane would have never left GC under any circumstances knowing that Lily was there. If he did leave, it would have been temporarily. The man would have been back in a flash especially if he even contemplated another man taking his place with Lils. That is what sets him off every time--the thought of losing her permanently! When he gets jealous or angry, watch that vein in the middle of his forehead pop out, his jaws are clenched, and his fist tighten. He assumes the role of Cane so completely, I am not certain whether that is acting or a natural reflex. He is so talkative, gregarious, lively and engaging in real life--slightly opposite of Cane! I consider their love for one another the gift or blessing to all of us!! Being released from quarantine, getting out of the house and off that orange sofa, while being able to move around GC without fear must be like being released from solitary confinement in a prison. |
