I feel like there is no romance anymore...shouldn't a soap contain lots of romance? I'm hoping we'll see Daniel woo Amber. There's room for a few more 'romantic' get-togethers... the couples at the moment are all about the romp but love seems to be missing. Phick - just about the $ex, Shack - not even sure that they are really into the $ex anymore...what's happened? |

Y&R has improved considerably since Bell and Scheffer took over. Finally the show has good storylines and beloved characters (like Kay) are being better utilized. (When Hogan wrote for ATWT, it was almost as good as when Douglas Marland was headwriter; now ATWT is unwatchable). For a couple of years, Y&R was unwatchable, too, and focused on making heroes out of cringeworthy characters like Gloria and Phyllis. It's about time they right the wrongs committed during LML's reign. |

the one thing that set's the Y&R apart from the other soaps is the stable cast other then the B&B no soap can come close. that was beginning to happen under the regain of LML. character's were being killed off like they were Lego. under the team of Bell and Sheffer their seems to be a balance of new character's and legacy character's. |

Quote soapmonkey: Well said, Darlotto. Any show goes through slow periods, but I think there have been a lot of new, good things on the show lately that have more than kept my interest. I know I'm new here, but I don't understand why it's okay to trash the writers, but negative comments against the actors themselves are frowned upon? As for trashing the writers I'm sure they can take it and they've probably heard a lot worse. In the end they could care less about these few opinions (in my opinion), nothing stops them from writing what they want to anyway. |

If the writers keep Gloria as a front s/l I guess I'll have to FF her. Gloria is always in everyones face. It's getting rediculous. |
