I think it would be interesting if NE starts to go under while Victor is away. Victor will return and the Newmans will have financial hardship. It would be interesting to see them have to deal with money issues. Maybe Victoria and Nick will see what Adams life was like growing up and they will start being nicer to their half brother.

maybe they could do a male spousal abuse story.. Phyliss as the abuser... Nick would have to hide it because he would be ashamed... eventually it would come out... he would press charges and she would be carted off...

With the economic crises Newman industries would likely suffer hardship with or without Victor.

I like the idea of dealing w/the credit crisis via Newman Enterprises. I also know abused spouses have been done before, but not in a very long time so an abuse storyline of any kind (be it male on female or vice versa).

Other than that, I don't mind classic old love interest storylines - I would just like to see them change some of the couples up; give Paul a new woman, have Billy settle down w/someone, etc. Or a man for Mrs. C.

What if Nikki decided to use the house she bought with David Chow as a Homeless shelter for families in the area who are suffering from the "econmic crisis and housing foreclosure problems" All the different families could contribute time and money etc...

no hook up for lily and cane. they are so over. i would like to see cane ans chloe work thier marriage out and stay together and not for just the baby.
