Quote mdtuttle: I for one would like to see Kevin leave his mother in the dust once and for all. She is cold and vindictive. Not only does she not care who she hurts in her schemes to get what she wants. But it doesn'tbother her a bit to drag her son into her crimes with her. YEs he is a grown man and should tell her to take a leap, but if she were any kind of mother she wouldn't be putting him in these positions in the first place. She talks about how horrible Tom Fisher was and how River abandoned her and Micheal but I think she is just as abusive in her own way.

Applause, Tuttle! I think he's just picking the lesser of two evils, seeing how horrid his father was. A child has a natural, instinctive love for his parents, even if they were less than stellar. Since Gloria did do more of the nuturing than his father, especially after they separated, he has some loyalty to her. But she is beyond wrong for using her son's trauma and fragility to her own selfish advantage. She's going to ruin both his and Michael's life, and in the meantime, she'll be happy in her sick marriage and runnning Jabot.

Alright, this will probably sound picky, but I would think that a '62 Bently sitting in front of a coffee house that is frequented by the high school and college crowd would draw a crowd. So tell me why no one noticed that the owner of said coffee house got into that classic car, and hot wired it in order to move it, then later, returned on foot.

Don't forget, Gloria was a witness to what Terrible Tom did to Kevin. Maybe she was complicit in what he was doing to him. Gloria is a manipulator. She probably has been manipulating Kevin for his whole life. She knows what buttons to push to make Kevin do her bidding. In a way, Kevin is still that little boy locked in the closet, relieved to have Mommy free him from his prison. In the back of his mind Gloria will always be the one who rescued him. Both of them could use a little psychotherapy.
