She said this again to Colleen just the other day...that Cane was shown to be the father to the baby Chloe is carrying thru his DNA matching...didn't Lily go to college and take any sort of genetics class or even know how to determine that "does not exclude" does NOT necessarily mean "is the daddy"????

Ya you would think that SOMEBODY would of mentioned this to Cane & Lilly! It's not 99.9%. If I loved someone as much as they claimed to love each other, I would definetly be doing further testing & asking more questions. I wouldn't just give up like that. Wonder when someone will figure out it's Billy's baby?

You would think that would be the case...but, you ask when someone will figure this out...maybe when Doc Olivia comes to GC???????

[quote] I hope it's soon cuz Lily needs help. She will also
have a professional to talk to about her problems {if she
will open up to her aunt}. Lily can be a tad stubborn. It
just seem to be a matter of common sense that's missing
between Cane and Lily. DNA seems to be all they can think
of. Chloe sure got these two figured out. DUMB AND DUMBER.

I think you're on the right track twocentsworth. I think maybe Olivia will have to tend to Chloe and things start to unravel.

Because, it does. Nobody knows why. We never saw her pay the guy off that did the DNA test.

The writers of this story line counted on the stupidity of the viewer. They of corse were wrong... however...Even if they have read these boards and recognize that the viewer is not so uneducated, and ill informed regarding DNA and genetics.... they obviously don't give a damn... and prefer to continue to write stupid story lines... either not caring that the viewer isn't stupid, or hoping that maybe the viewer will stupid down to the ignorance of the story lines.

The DNA will show Cane as the father (when we all know Chloe is manipulative to the inth degree)but that wouldn't rule out a male relative of Cane's - ie Billy. I agree it will take Olivia to come back and help Lily get through this and at the same time put Chloe back in her place.
