Tell her to keep it up. That's the kind of thing that may one day lead to a college scholarship! I know that it seems light years away, but it goes by in a flash! Congrats to your baby; you must be so proud!!!! |

Last year she was cast in a lead role in Robin Hood, as Maid Marion..she did so well..it was a proud moment for me! :')My littlest--yeah i am..im helping with her first fundraiser and she's so giggley about it.. Whatz the topic again? Lane? i dont get into those poll thingeys...I will admit tho, that the kiss they shared the other day was kinda HOT...not "SHICK HOT" but hot..

At least it's nice to see a couple that doesn't have disrepute attached to their beginnings in the #1 slot. Oh, and the robot-voting has been going on for a long, long, time. Nothing new, except a different couple is now on top. off topic: Soul I think the nail polish fumes  went to my head. I lost the thread where I asked you about the Toronto Film Festival... Can you point me please??

Quote lisarenee: I admit, I AM a Lily and Cane fan!! And I just read in Soap Digest that Lily and Cane are the #1 couple this week (their third week in a row at the top spot!) AND they've both been rated #1 actor and #1 actress!! Great job LANE!! I'm so happy for them! And I HOPE this will make the writers see how much of a fanbase they have with this couple! I think/hope their s/l is just beginning! I would love to see great things in their future! And with ratings like this, I don't see how they could split them up. Although... Nick and Phyllis had been at #1 for a loooong time and now they've been bumped to #4...hmmmmm.. guess this IS a soap afterall, but I'm happy for the moment!! I am glad that this makes you happy, but I really question how Lily can be the number 1 actress. She hardly has much of a story line, and her character doesn't display much spunk. She is beautiful, that is true, but as far as acting, it is hard to tell whether she is worthy of the number 1 placement when she isn't on screen much, and when she is she is playing a rather boring IMO character compared to pretty much all the other actresses. There a glimmers of possibility but they don't pan out. |

Lil, this just proves the point of why robot voting makes a mockery out of polling. Notice that whatever couple is #1, the actor and actress that make up said couple is generally always voted #1 actor and actress for that same week. Now, if it's based solely on the "popularity" of the couple as orchestrated by the robot-voting, then that makes some sense. But in no way do I personally believe the voting is based on "talent", IMHO. I say that because for the past several months, neither the #1 actor/actress has equated to the most talented - not by a long shot, IMO. |
