Why was Victor so mad at Adam?

Victor's problem with all of his kids....no damn loyalty he cant count on a single one of them to stand beside him they are always doing exactly the opposite of what he thinks or wants..... Maybe Victor got a confession out of Walter before the "accident" and found out that he was the one that had a "Hit" out on Sabrina so he could get everything he could from Daddy dearest. |

But to the question - Victor is mad at Adam because he put Zapatto in the Kennel, made Brad CEO of NE, Fired Neil, Fired Victoria, Made himself head honcho of NE, AND had Heather at the house after he forbade her entrance to the ranch. I can't think of much more he could have done to tick off Victor!

You hit all the high points. What else would it take to make Mr. V mad? Right now he hates everyone. But, I'm glad he made Neil CEO. Neil has work hard and been loyal to Victor and the company down through the years. He deserves it. |

What I don't undestand is why Victor is so damn adament about telling his grown son whom he has never known for most of his 27-28 years, who he can or cannot socialize with or fall in love. That's what it amounts to when it comes to Heather. She was only doing her job including Victor as a suspect after finding positive evidence in GiMins room (planted evidence, of course, but no one knew that); she also included Jack on the suspect list. You don't see Jack lashing out at her. If Victor wanted to tell a son who he should or shouln't marry, he should have advised Nick to make a better choice other than a blackmailing jailbird. Talk about giving the family a bad name! |

Adam told Victor he would continue to see Heather, so he was aware of that. Having a death certificate issued within 24 hours of being declared missing is somthing else. That was fast as a matter of fact it was a record. Adam all but danced with glee to know Victor was dead. Granted he hadn't known his father long and had not established a bond but 10 seconds of grieving and back to business! The very least he could have done was wait a week or two before taking over the world. He could have waited a little bit before doing his happy dance. It looked like he was happy his father was dead and he couldn't wait to pay everyone back for being mean to him. I'm sure that's what made Victor so angry. The fact that Adam didn't care anything for him only for what he would inherit from Victor. As a parent I understand that. |

You're right, that's another thing Victor needs to examine when it comes to his own business dealings and what he did to get convicted of a crime. Adam hasn't followed in Vic's crooked footsteps - why should Adam want to anyway? |

Adam ws happy that Victor was dead and did everything he knew Victor would oppose to. Thatz right eppy...thatz what i dont get..Why does Vic get a 'free pass' in all of this?! He has got to realize his part in it all. I think that men like him, that hold their own guilt deep down inside, ALWAYS blame someone else...like on the woman aka Nikki.  He passes it all to her, making her feel like crap b/c he KNOWS she is so vulnerable, especially right now.I think he is angry for one that he walks in to see him making out with Heather, the one person Vic specifically told him he didnt want around. Than when Mikey told him about Neil being fired & the "name change" and than Estelle telling him about Zapato....im sure that is more than enough for Vic to blow his top...  Now i think if Adam TRIED to be humble and just keep some space from everyone for awhile, Victor will eventually come to him. But it doesnt look like thats Adam's plan...LOL! Only more fuel to the fire....
