Remember when Victor first got to that bar in Mexico and make a phone call and said "I'm here". I thought perhaps he was calling Michael and Michael knew all along what Victors plan was. But after watching this week, I'm not sure. Maybe he called Estella....only b/c she said "I tried to keep your study exactly the way you left it but Adam...". Any ideas?

I wish i knew.......but now that u mentioned Estella, and they showed her a few timez this past week...it could very well be that he called her.......

maybe he called Ashley. I know Ashley wouldn't have said anything if he told her not too (even to Jack). If Ashley really thought he was dead she would have been in G.C. so Abby could be around family. He probably didn't want her or Abby to worry, especially since they are out on the west coast and told her he would be gone for awhile but would be back and be in touch.

I think it has something to do with Walter the guy Chow was involved with. he was killed on the boat and Nikki pretended not to know who he was from the photo when the mexican police showed it to her to identify the body. I think Victor Killed him. and that call had something to do with that.

I think that Victor was trying to set up Walter with the FBI. Hence, the call. Victor no matter how tough he is, is not a killer. That is why he became estranged from his son and Nikki. They believed that under certain circumstances he would react in a violent manner and so killed Jill's beloved. But when he was in Mexico the FBI probably called him and told him that the mob was after Walter, and that Walter was all but a dead man. Therefore, Victor got off the boat at the last minute. The boat could have exploded not because of the storm but because of a bomb. Perfect set-up. Victor was left without transportation and had to find shelter. Of course he had to wait until the storm was over, and that took days. That's why he found Nikki while walking back to his little hut. Of course, there could be a more exciting reason but this is the only one I could come up with.

Victor made a promise to Sabrina that he would avenge her and their baby's needless death...he left his old cellphone and meds under the dirt at her gravesite...he called his own cell phone that he left at Sabrina's grave to say he's there (to avenge her death)...thus completing the promise he made to her...grief makes loved ones do strange things and sometimes it's the only way to get through it...

What if there is a big storyline weaving itself together right before our eyes....

1)the Newman Jet crashes ...possible terrorist attack
2)Victor dissappears to rescue (?)Adam from some mysterious threat
Sabrina and David Chow in mysterious accident
4)Victor calls someone and says I'm here

in addition Victor is doing everything he can to build a huge wedge between himself and all the members of his family maybe he is trying to protect them from some danger
