Before the plane crashed that caused Nicks memory loss, Sharon and Nick was on the plane together. They had a sincere talk about their lives and pass mistakes. Nick admitted to pushing her away when Casssie died and Phyllis was there to cheer him up and make him laugh and things go out of hand and he fell in love with her and she became pregrant.

Now saying that; on the other hand, Sharon confessed to Nick that she was the blame because she was going to Brad and depending on him because she had fallen in love with him before the major problems started with them and that she was still in love with Brad. Nick was shocked to hear Sharon say this to him after having him thinking he was most horrible person and husband and in turn asked her what about Jack, you are with him now don't you thing Jack should know. Sharon, I am going to stay with Jack because he good with Noah.

Before these two get back together, Memory needs to be gained so they can both be on a level plan. Sharon has never told anyone that she and Nick had that talk and Nick does not remember; two year was lost. Nick needs to remember the ordeals that they had gone thru. "And it wasn't all peaches and cream on Sharon behalf.

Yes, they need to remember all the affairs, all the times they had to "run" from each other to figure out what to do next instead of turning to each other. If they both remember that - they will know that Cassie's death and the affair with Phyllis were not the only things that went wrong in this marriage - there were MANY problems through the years and that is why they divorced and should stay that way!

If the rumors are true about Nick and Sharon reuniting, it is apparent that the writer's don't care about their past mistakes and are focusing on putting this couiple back together no matter what. Whether or not the writer's choose to have this couple learn from their past mistakes is totally up to them and not the character's themselves. With that being said for those that choose to continue to watch this show, will just have to wait to see what the writer's have in store for the viewers.

I agree Colour. Sharon and Nick are no exception to any super couple because any soap marriage that lasts for more than a year or two - on any soap - endures some serious crap. But that doesn't stop TPTB from reuniting them eventually because the couple was loved

No one is saying they didn't have some serious problems in their marriage over 10 years - what couple doesn't? But there was enough magic to them, IMO, for them to be brought back together. It's not like they've broken up and reunited a gazillion times, like Nikki and Victor say. I think they've both grown as individuals since being separated, which could make for some really interesting, previous unexplored, possibilities when they reunite.

I'm a die-hard Shick fan, true and true. And based on watching these characters from their beginnings and how LML, at the time, was writing some of the most contrived scenes ever for these characters (and others), I never believed that scene in the plane before Nick's crash as ringing true. It was just not believeable at all, especially in how the lines were written. I distinctly remember Sharon in that scene and it was so obvious to me that even SC seemed like she didn't believe the lines she was saying. LML needed the Brad angle to take some of the heat off of Phick, but a lot of us didn't buy it then. And we're not buying it now. TPTB must have realized the futility of trying to force the Shad "romance" on us because Brad and Sharon were a bust and there has n'er been a kindling of it since. They knew Sharon and Nick are soul mates. RIP Shad. Bring on Shick!

It wasn't a question of her acting - but the writing. There were many scenes during the LML reign of terror wherein posters on various websites were saying the same thing - not only about Sharon (the character), but other characters as well. Meaning, their words rang hollow. That is even the case now, as many have said Phyllis (MS) seems bored with some of her lines. Whether this is true or not, we'll never know - but the fact remains this is how it can come across when you have bad, contrived, plot-driven writing for a show that is based on character-driven s/ls. It's not a reflection of the actor's ability, but how the character is perceived base on what the script forces them to say.

I love Nick with Phyllis and adorable Summer! I am totally against Nick & Sharon (who slept with several other guys....if we're taking a walk down memory lane)to end up back together! What a tragedy!
