It seems to me that Victor Newman is sufficient to make you a Jr. LOL i wasnt sure thatz WHY i asked silly! Here's what i just found out: He cannot be a Jr if he doesnt carry the name in its entirety. The child must be a son of the father, not a grandson. And the name must be replicated exactly. Who makes these rules though?? I mean seriously? I knew a guy whose name was actually Junior. Shouldn't that be illegal? IF you quizzeed the guy you would prob ably find out that he is named exactly for his father and goes by Junior- it happens- a lot-- ask him next time you see him No he isn't. He is my brother's best friend and his name is Junior Rancourt. He is not named after his father. I guess they like the name. |

Thanks though. I never would have thought of that. |

Peter Philip... LOL... I love him tho... but come on having the initials PP... And I won't even tell you the last name. Suffice to say I had to love him a lot to take it. Now my son... Roderick Ted. That's a man's name. No Juniors here. |

But we talking about being named after your father. to be a Jr., He has to be named exactly like his father. Example: Michael Anthony Jackson (father)..Michael Anthony Jackson Jr. (son) So what is the point of all this? Would the son sign that and have it as you printed above on his mortage documents and that sort of thing? And then when his dad dies you drop the Jr? And what he Jr has a son and calls him Michael Anthony Jackson while the grandfather is still alive? Lordy......nevermind...i was just trying to help explain it to HotPink since she asked..i wasnt sure so i looked it up and thats what i read. it really dont faze me...Sr's Jr's I, II, III's...whateva.. Alls i know is Adam is going by Victor Newman NOW.. hahaha |

Quote HOT PINK: Quote xx_Jenn_xx: Quote HOT PINK: Quote Sunnyflower: Quote gommie: Quote Sunnyflower: Does it really matter that your middle name is different? It seems to me that Victor Newman is sufficient to make you a Jr. Nope-in order to be a Jr the name must be the same as the Sr. Says who? Well, where I come from everyone I know who is a Jr. has the exact same name as the Sr. You are correct HotPink. Adam was nicknamed Jr. in Kansas...i remember he said thatz what they call him...nothing to do with Victor being his father.....they just called him Junior. Thanks for the explanation, xx_jenn_xx. So, I'm guessing that's why, in today's show, he said my name is just Adam Victor Newman - he's not Victor Jr. after all. yw HotPink! and yeah it looks that way...... |

I am seriously curious now. Jenn - where did you find the info? |

My son's first and middle names are Thomas Alexander. His son has the same names with a II on the end of his last name. If T.A. has a son with the same name, there will be III tag on the end. |

Quote Sunnyflower: I am seriously curious now. Jenn - where did you find the info? I don't get at all why you would name your son the exact same name. Get over yourself! Lila - I love your son's name. Very nice. Very manly. You can google it like i did...but i got it from this one: ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080628105026AAtwFX2 |

Quote xx_Jenn_xx: Ladies help me out here...I thought that Adam was from Hope's last name of "Adams"...Hope Adams Wilson...?? And Jr was just a nickname they called him...i thought i remember him saying everyone called him Jr. And his birth name is Adam Wilson......??? I seem to remember that he was named after victor when he was born but when Hope took him back to the farm and married another man( think his name was Cliff?) she asked Victor to let him take her new name of Wilson so he had a normal life. Someday she would tell him who his birth father was? |
