They are the personification of "True Love" and IMO that speaks volumes. Lots will disagree with me and to each their own but to me they are the next super couple, and it will become apparent soon enough

I could never bring myself to watch Y&R during that period of time, I just could not get behind the Nick and Sharon pairing.

I know that we are split down the middle about how we all feel (Phick vs Shick), but I know one thing is for sure and I think some or most of you will agree...Nick's character has changed a lot in the last few years and so has Sharon's.

I like the characters both have become separately! Sharon is much stronger, independent, and smarter. You have to admit the writers did not paint her in the best light most of the time she was married to Nick. Now granted I only watched here and there and off and on through those years, but it seemed like everytime I tuned in she was cheating, bonding with Victor (ewwww that kiss), fighting with Nikki over stupid stuff, and what was that "stripping" SL all about?

So with that said, being in the relationships they have been in have helped both characters grow. As is the same for the opposite characters, Phyllis and Jack. Now, Jack hasn't changed a great deal, but he has changed a little. He is still warring with Victor and that will never change. Phyllis has changed a great deal.

I watched the May 2007 - August 2007 Phick scenes last night again and realized how much the writers stripped Phyllis of her dignity. They intentionally tore her down and built her back up again to learn and grow. Did the character cause a lot of her problems for herself? You bet...but at the same time she also got treated pretty badly by Nick's family and that whole extortion thing got taken way too far! The interesting part is that Nikki blackmailed Brad to turn her own daughter in-law in and then she turned around and criticized Phyllis for doing what she was doing...blackmailing.

I am bringing all this up because I am a Phick and Shack fan! I do not want to see either couple split up. But I think it is going to happen...but not how we all think it will happen.

But, with that said, I have a feeling something huge is going to take shape down the short road to November sweeps. However, I don't think it will be anything that any of us fans will expect.

My theory: All four characters are going to be split up from each other!

I was in another thread earier this week and I disagreed that Nick was hiding the true paternity of Summer.

Well, I read an article tonight on the web that has me scratching my head! It was an article that JM was quoted to say that it will probably turn out that Nick has been lying all along that he is Summer's father.

Here are my predictions:

Nick is going to go somewhat dark I think. He will team with his father to try and bring Jack down.

What does that mean for us Phick, Shack, Shick, and Phack fans?

Hmmmm...a huge shake up! In the end, my prediction is that the couples working their way back or to each other are:

Brad/Sharon (they have not had a strong love interest for the Brad character in a quite sometime...so I think that is going to happen).

Nick/Phyllis/Jack triangle (sorry, but this is a powerful triangle, always has been!) Who comes out of this is anybody's guess. I think it will depend on the reception the fans have at the time... It will depend on which fanbase is stronger, Phick or Phack.

Not for sure about this...but, a brief storyline will take place for the Shick fans between now and Nov... It will center around Noah and Sharon's need to seek comfort in Nick because her marriage with Jack is falling apart. I think he will become distant with Phyllis, but it won't be because of Sharon, it will be because of Jack. We have not seen it yet, but eventually Jack always persuades Phyllis to side with him in some way. He will do that again...he always does! I am thinking it will be because of what Victor will do to Nick. She will be angry with Victor for hurting her husband. Remember, Phyllis' way of defending her family and loved ones is by using the best offense (she sees the best offense as the best defense).

So, fashion week is in late October in Paris. Nick and Sharon could be going for Restless Style possibly. But, I also think that there is a possibility JM and SC are only going to film flashback scenes. (I believe JM and SC only are going there to film flashbacks for the US/Canada and for the Summer 2009 20th Anniversary scenes for what will air in France for the Paris trip that Nick and Sharon were supposed to go on with Noah back in 2006). The true current day SL for Paris is probably going to be Victor and Ashely's love story starting over.

So, I think that Nick and Sharon will do some bonding over the next few months, which is when the flashback scenes come into play and will air (around the end of Oct or 1st of Nov). But, I think Nick will realize he doesn't want to make the same mistake again and end another marriage in infidelity. Meanwhile, his marriage to Phyllis is starting to fall apart because of his bonding with Sharon and her bonding with Jack. Here comes the ironic part...Nick will realize he loves Phyllis too much and will do anything to save his marriage, until a health scare happens to Summer!

The tragic part of this prediction storyline is going to be Summer! The November sweeps eppys for Phick, Phack, Shick, Shack I think are going to be a major health scare and it is going to be something like Summer will need a transfusion, or some medical need from her "biological" father. This is when Nick will have to come forward that Jack is Summer's true father.

This will cause all four characters to split from each other. Sharon will have already split with Jack at this point I believe. Phyllis will of course will leave Nick and move back into her PH because of the betrayal. Jack and Phyllis will be angry with each other for a period of time, probably for not seeing it and doing something about it. Sharon will be angry with Nick because of not only keeping such a lie and keeping a child from her true father, but she will realize that at the time how much he had to have loved Phyllis in order to pull off such a deception. And we all know what Sharon does when those that she loves disappoint her....she seeks comfort in a nother man, and guess who will be there, Brad! Poor Nick will be stripped entirely of his dignity, similar to what happened to Phyllis in 2007.

So, then it begins with the Jack/Phyllis/Nick triangle. Nick will do everyting he possibly can to try to win Phyllis back, Jack will be there and want to bond with his child thus paving a way for a relationship with Phyllis. The torn one will be Phyllis!
