The Young and the Restless - MESSAGE BOARDS

1. I noticed that the only person on the entire show that smokes, was the cab driver that drove Nick to where Nicki was in Mexico.
2. How come no one in GC ever goes to the grocery store?
3. Does anyone in GC ever clean their own house?
4. They never show the outside of anyone's house. Maybe an occasional doorway.
5. Do people ever use the bathroom?
6. A day can last days, but a night will be totally skipped.

Just some stupid observations.

Do you really want to see somebody going to the bathroom?

In years past, oh so long ago, they did show long outdoor shots of the Abbott estate and Chancellor estates. Abbott's home was a big two or three story house, with brick exterior, lots of cables with a long grassy area on the approach and a curved driveway. I believe I remember diamond window panes. Katherine's home is at the end of a long road, then a huge span of green, edged by woods, and the house sat at the end of the driveway - it did kind of remind me of a plantation type home. Don't ask me how I remember that, but I'm always interested in architecture. I remember the day Mac and Billy were getting married and Jill was attempting to get to the Chancellor estate to call the whole thing off because she just discovered she was Katherine's daughter, and the marriage would have been between cousins. Jill's car stalled and she took off running thru the wood and across the large expanse of lawn to get there - too late to stop the wedding. This is probably alot more information than you were looking for - sorry! I get blabby!

Most of them also never eat at home...they always eat out...they all must have a lot of $$ ...lol!...Then again, this is all fantasy, not reality!

Nobody ever pins their hair so it won't fall in their eyes, mouth or other peoples faces!!

Oohhh one of my biggest pet peeves is when they wake up in the morning....they're in bed kissing their spouse!

I noticed that they are always on their cell phones!!! Does anyone use the old phones anymore?

Another petty detail...

Nobody ever seems to pay in the restaurants and bars.

One thing I noticed recently was Colleen eating with her mouth open (my 22 month old grandson doesn't even do that!).

No one ever perspires!

When a character says they have to go someplace WAY across town, they're in the very next scene having already arrived at their destination just a few seconds later.
