Does anyone get the feeling that Paul is gonna try to pursue Nikki, and since when have Nikki and Paul been lifelong close friends? Been watchin over 20 years and can't recall that. Can someone help me out?

They have been friends since they were teens. They have some history together. Were involved in some colt and also nikki got STD from Paul I think! But they have alittle history there.

I remember decades ago when Victor held Paul hostage in his basement. Don't remember why. Anyone else remember this?

Sorry, the only person I remember holding hostage in his basement was Michael Scott, who Victor thought was his first wife Julia's lover (which at the time they were not).

I hope Paul does NOT pursue a relationship with Nikki beyond their friendship. He actually deserves better, because ultimately we all know that she will ALWAYS go back to Victor. Paul doesn't need any sloppy seconds in the romance department; he needs a woman of his own; someone he can count on! Their friendship should remain just a friendship and that's it. It will only lead to heartache for Paul if he pursues it any further...
