Exactly, the ring is suppose to be a Chancellor heirloom, so why give it to Chloe if he is only marrying for the baby, just to establish rights as he says. Also Lily should have been upset because that shows you what he thinks about the ring he just proposed to her with, just passed it to the next woman. I mean it is not like Cane is broke he could of bought another ring.[/quote]

:) I hear you Charme, put the super couple back together, They are the only decent ones on the show. Yes they do shine, like gold, Y&R have a gold mine and don't see it. This couple light up the screen everytime they are together. Its just pure romance!! Who could go wrong with that. Its so refreshing to watch and enjoy. Hope the writers read our post on this. The cheating and bed hopping is so tired and I for one would like to see lovers stay together and be happy for once, good grief!!!

Oh how I wish the writers hadn't done this idiotic thing as well. I hope Cane makes her regret the day she ever met him and conjured up her scheme. Keep in mind your defending someone who has been deceitful and spiteful to one's who tried to befriend her sorry a##.

I agree that this s/l is badly handled. But I am not defending Chloe, I am condemning Cane. His behaviour is idiotic, hypocritical and wrong.

Well I can agree with you to a certain degree about Cane's behavior. But that's why I hate this s/l. I have been watching for a while and never have I been so bothered by the lines given to characters, like I am about Cane and Lily. In the past story lines like these were exciting and entertaining, but they've made Cane and Lily's characters say and do such stupid things that I just can't watch. My plea to the writers is to make this right and put Cane and Lily together like they belong. I think both characters shine tremendously when they're together. (Sorry I got off on a tangent).

3) I believe he tried to more than once, and lily wouldn't listen, then, daddy neil busted in and said it is over. I think that if everyone would have stayed out of their way. Maybe they would have talked. Neil and devon blocked any conversation they could have had. He begged her to talk to him and she didn't. As much as I love them together, I have to say that lily is a bit spoiled, and, she really believe that he slept with Chloe. Also, there was a spumer that she was suppose to team up with Cane to bring Chloe down, what happened to this? any comments
is there any truth to it, or was it just a rumer?

If memory serves me, Chloe was pregnant BEFORE she falsly seduced Cane. This is all BS.

They all seem to have emotional intellegence of about "3".

I agree with you that I only watched the soap because of Cain and Lilly. It was a relationship that we wish we all had. Like I said on another site, The producers and writers of the show do not want to have the only sucessfull relationship between Lane workout because it is an interracial relationship. The useless, boring and outdated s/ls are a joke. I used to have respect for the writing abilties but I want to puke. I beleive that this soap has some of the best actors around but somehow CBS has managed to literally shred the characters and roles apart. This clearly shows that whoever is writing has no connection to the original theme and no depth of knowledge in building character. They are writing as how they think, miniscule and simple. This is kindergarten writing without the pics and doodles. It is a shame to waste such talent on poor screen writes. Writers take a writing workshop then study human development because obviously you know nothing about writing. Poor Poor Poor. It makes me question the quality of graduate education, if we are spitting out these inconsistent, sporadic and idiotic intellectuals who are unable to maintain focus on one story. The s/ls are horrible now. There are too many loose ends and the story has morphed into an unmanageable task. Too many issues, too many twists, too many plots. This is affecting the time spent to properly develop the existing characters and their lives. Shakespeare would scream. It is too disjointed. Someone really needs to wake up. I think that I will rely on the posts for updates. I am not eager to watch this mess any longer.

Yes, I agree with you they do shine when they are together and more importantly they are credible. Maybe this is what the writers were "afraid" of. The writers are pathetic. We really need to boycott this soap. Cane is being portrayed as idiot and as someone who is unable to handle his personal decisions but can run a multi-billion dollar empire. Lilly is thee flower maiden who just does not have a clue because she just wants peace, love and harmony to the point that it is unrealistic. Now her character is too amibiguous and contradictory. The writers have really botched this s/l. It is the sonly s/l that where nothing works out for the couple, despite their feelings for one another. There is always some glitch. Enough already. Such a waste of time. I will read about how they "fix" it because I wont be watching. It is a waste of time. Get rid of those writers they are horrible and get rid of the producers they are even more stupid for allowing this to happen. Also the actors need to speak up.

I love watching Chloe. She is one tough cookie. Cane will treat her like sh t and she always has a conmback. I think he has met his match and I hope she knocks him down a notch.
