Apparently, they know exactly what their doing. In the current issue of SOW, DG talks about this Lane/Chloe s/l and basically says they know that Lane fans are "up in arms" about it. So they are definitely and deliberately creating severe angst for Lane fans. But while that may be, it is such a poorly thought out and ridiculous s/l - that he has to marry Chloe to establish parental rights. It's a joke and pretty much insulting to fans.

Cane truly is the dumbest man on the show right now. Not once, but twice he's been duped by golddigging strumpets after several too many pints (hey Cane, here's a clue: lay off the booze - you obviously can't handle it.) ITA Sniz - it takes away all attractiveness for me with this character. Yuz got to have brains too, not just a body and a nice smile.

I just dont like the quick turn of his character..its like a dam rollercoaster, one minute he's cryin all over Heather about only knowing his father for 6 months..that this cant be happening..to firing Neil?? WTH?! thats why im gonna believe that the boy is either in complete shock due to the fact he has lost both of his parents now....plus possibly, something from his past is surfacing?? those so-called 'bad people he was involved with'.....alls i know, is i cant wait until Vic returns....
