I think deep down, Victor is and will always be Nikki's true love. She showed it when she was on the beach and thought he was dead. I believe she loves Paul, but just as a good friend. No doubt, Paul would treat her better than Victor does, but the feelings just aren't there for her. This is just my opinion though.

I like Paul, and even though they come from the same side of the tracks, and were boy friend & girl-friend in high school, they are so different now. Nikki is used to a different lifestyle setting.. Paul seems not to even be able to afford a new brief case, and/or office. He does however have an apt, & that typical bachelor pad leather couch, that he & Detective M I A used to wiggle around on. Everybody should have good friends from back in the day.. Paul and Nikki should reamin that for each other. Just my opinion.

neither couple should marry again. We have too many s/l's to go through without taking up another month to go through a wedding.
