I try to get on this board once a day, in the morning before my day starts. I don't have a lot of time, nor do I have much inclination to post.... although I do read. Glaring me in the face daily is the bring back Sabrina petition thread. |

Unless it is the same posters posting again and again. If this Horse is resurrected by the efforts of those who won't quit, I will seriously give up on this soap. The Sabrina character needs to stay dead and gone. The actress herself was beautiful and brilliant. But the story line was atrocious, and showed Victor in an extremely poor light. A father does not marry his daughter's best friend within weeks of meeting her, while still carrying unresolved issues for that daughter's mother. A best friend does not marry her friend's father within weeks of meeting him, while nursing a broken heart from a previous, and completely hidden, relationship. A father does not completely and arrogantly reject his children that he raised because of their inability to accept the step parent he has forced on them according to his time frame. A father does not in the meantime, embrace a son he has not brought up, nor indeed supported, to the extent that he shoves that embracing into the faces of his other children and create conflict. Bring this beautiful and brilliant actress back? Sure... it has been done before. But not in the character of Sabrina. That character contributed to a story line that was in such poor taste it was bound for failure, and not any too soon in my opinion. Keep Sabrin dead!!!  Great post  My thoughts exactly!

And not just because I strongly disliked the storyline - but also because I absolutely hate it when soaps bring back someone who they have shown has died and been buried.
