We could show her better in the peace pipe!!!!!! I am 40 almost 41 and if I had that party, I would find new friends. LMAO omg too funny. I said almost word for word the same thing on a different board.. if this was all my friends could get together for my 21st I would be getting me some new ones.. this bday was a joke.. 21 is the biggie bday.. in canada it is 19

Christel Khalil and Daniel Goddard are doing an outstanding acting job in their portrayal of this couple. The acting job that they bring alive in these characters allows us to share in their love story. Love it! I’m trying to figure out why this couple has so many of us rooting for them and glue to our TV when they are on. Note: I’m referencing “so many of us” as people I know in my circle –friend, family and coworkers who are also enjoying this couple as well. Perhaps it’s the underlining “classic romantic love story” that I see at times in their portrayal of this couple. I must admit I sometime delve into some Harlequin type romance novels at times. The Lily and Cane story line reminds me of those “romantic novels” ---Cane a handsome worldly man from a prestige family with a great heart and a subtle edginess to his character, and Lily a beautiful young heroine who embarks life challenges with a good heart---“Walla” there is your working formula for a “super couple” and add CK and DG sensual chemistry to the mix---do I need to say more. Ok… so that is why so many of us are into Lily and Cane. I think I answered my question. So let me end by saying “ Young and Restless,” please continue to write great story lines for this couple/characters. I welcome stories of angst/obstacles in their story lines---it keeps “me” staying tune but I hope you continue to show that no matter what life challenges brings them, their sweet romantic and devoted and thelove that they have for each other will keep their connection/relationship strong and their saving grace. THANKS, Y&R for had given us this Lily and Cane “Classic Romantic Love Story!” I do agree cane and lily are exactly like harlequin romances.. dull and flat and been done a million times and BORING.. rich old man captures your naive idiot and carries her off.. can he please keep walking |

Quote CPAT: Lily and Cane Forever........ The fans love this couple! Only the lame lane fans do. Cane is a contradictory character. He was extremely nasty to Amber~~~ yes he was right to be hurt by what she did, but if he truly loved her he should have recognized that she had genuinely learned to love him, and he could not have turned on her the way he did. I still think the revenge sex was waaaaay over the top. It was definate sexual abuse and no excuse for it. He enjoyed Chloe's drunkin kiss and he enjoyed baiting her about it. There was no mistaking the look on his face while he was doing so. He pushed her away, then he found her a place to stay. Very contradictory. There is something about that man that doesn't ring true. |

Iam Lane fan too and I find it that word calling in other poster who Love Lane are Lame is very offensive and uncall for,I could do the same damn thing with others with their Fave but I dont because I know we are not supposed to call other posters. |

All in all, Cane doesn't have much of a role on the show. If he left tomorrow, he'd be known as the older guy who followed Lily around. As time goes on, I'm sure he doesn't want to be remembered for only that. On the other hand, if the writers gave him a role as being a bad boy, that would stand out in viewers minds more than the one he's playing now. |
