Victor needs time and space to sort everything out...his kids and others need to leave him ALONE to do this. After all, he IS only human. It seems that everyone around him seems to forget that fact...b/c of his stern business persona and his frankness and brashness at times...he HAS lost A LOT right now and he needs time to come to terms with it all...back off Nick, Victoria, Nikki, Michael....on and on and let him be! It's not all about you guys...he'll talk when he's ready to talk... |

Quote bestlurker: I actually would like to see Ashley finally get Victor back. It would drive Nikki even more nut after seeing Victor with Sabrina. It would drive Jack nut too. This would be great to see him and Ashley together and raising his daughter together. That would be a second chance for raising his child. I hope they will consider that s/l. Then as for Nikki she would have become strong in her own right and move on in her life as well. |

Quote buckeye52: I have watched Y&R since 1976. Yes, I think 'ol Vic is entitled to some happiness in his old age.  I like Sabrina with him, she makes him happy and he's got nothing but money to spoil and indulge her with. I like that he cares about what happens to the mother of his children but I really don't want to see him and Nikki get back together again. I like Nikki as an independent business woman. There are a lot of possible,good story lines there and Melody Thomas Scott is a good enough actress that can make Nikki interesting.She needs to quit babying her kids. Let them be independent. I've watched both Victoria and Nick grow up on the show. I like the rivalry between her and Sabrina as long as it doesn't go too far to where they can never go back, but as you all know, on soaps, anything is possible! Nick is such a wuss with Phyllis. There is no chemistry there IMO. Adam is the son who is going to turn out more like Victor. I would like to see Nick and come into his own instead of being known as Victor Newmans son.He needs to get rid of Phyllis and have a good,juicy romance,no marriages, tired of that. I disagree with the no Marriages remark. There is enough junk in soaps already. Remember the children in these relationships? |

Quote soulmates: Victor should become ruthless again and damn everyone who has ever crossed him.  Wouldn't it be nice to have Victor stay abroad and running his company incognito. Buying out stocks in Jabot, Restless Style Mag. and then come to town and take over. That would be interesting....To say the least...Ha, ha, ha. He would be sitting relaxing in his French Villa and buying up art from many of Sabrina's known collegues...something to that effect. Then come back in GC with a new bride as well. |

I have been an Eric Braden fan for many years. I love his character on this soap.. he play this part very well and very believable. So writers please keep him going strong. |
