Hi lovn billy, Welcome to our chat. I hope you'll visit soon. We talk about all kinds of things here..except the show. I live in Iowa, I have four daughters, 1 married with a new 3 month old grandson, one divorced with a 4 year old granddaughter, and 1 1/2 year old grandson, 1 is grown and in a relationship, and the "baby" is 18 and a senior this year. I work at a middle school with special ed kids, hubby is a computer programmer, and we have two dogs Cookie a 14 yr old cocker, and Jasmine a 8 yr old basset. So there you have my whole life story. Hope you'll share a little about you, and come back often. |

He's doing a site for me for my baking that I hope to have up by Christmas. I'll be sending you some pics of the kids in their costumes. Michele and Micha ended up staying the night. Angie has a 12 hour shift tomorrow, so that way she can sleep in a bit. We had tons of trick or treaters. Well over 300 for sure because we were running out of candy with an hour left to go. Curt ran out and bought 4 more bags, and we gave most of that away. We got some great news today!! Curt got the new job he's been hoping for. The whole process has taken almost four months. His nerves have been getting pretty frazzled during the wait. messy cook - First of all, let me say CONGRATULATIONS to Curt! I'm so happy he got the job he's been hoping for! I know that makes him (and you) breathe a lot easier now! Can't wait to see the photos of the kids in their costumes! Hope they had fun trick or treating. Thomas and I will be taking T.W. out tomorrow night. He doesn't know what trick or treating is, but I've told him we'll go for a walk and will be getting some candy, which will be fun. He loves to go for walks anyway. Thomas is going with us because he doesn't want me to take T.A. out alone. You must live in a big neighborhood to have had so many trick or treaters. I usually don't hand out candy because I never have enough money to buy candy. But, hopefully, I'll be able to get some candy tomorrow just in case since T.A. will be spending the night with me. I'll be getting come applesauce as well for some neighbors who have an eigth month boy. They are really sweet kids who adopted the multi-colored puppy I had called Jessie. They named her Maxie and they adore her. She is getting so big. I'll take a photo of her and send it to you. It's nice that I have one of the puppies close by. Hope you are feeling even better tonight! Enjoy those beautiful grandbabies! And, please tell Curt how happy I am for him! By the way, I'm thinking about learning out to make candles and seeing if I can sell them. My friend Wendy who lives in Tennessee does it; her website is www.yeolderebelcandle.com/ in case you'd like to see what she offers. I think this would be something I'd like to try and, if it works out, would be a good way for me to earn some extra money. Take care! |

He had brought come candy with them from going out with his dad, so he had plenty to choose from. Just got back from having lunch at Amanda's; today is her 21st birthday. It's started raining again, so I think i'll put my feet up and watch some TV. Haven't seen The Night of the Living Dead in a long time. Glad you enjoyed it. Hot Pink, It sounds like a good idea to just stay in and watch TV on a rainy day. We finally had two days in a row without rain. That hasn't happened in a couple of weeks. I just got back from WallyWorld. Curt starts his new job on Nov. 9th. That's good because lately we've been getting by with just one vehicle. Emily's car needs some work done on it (its a clunker). We have to get it running so she and I can get to school in the mornings. Curt will be using the van to get to work. |

Have to get organized for trash pick up in the morning and get a few things done around the house because my landlord is coming by to check a leak in my bathroom. Good Monday Morning, Everyone! Hope you all had a Happy Halloween weekend! Mine was good since T.A. spent the night Saturday night, and I got to see Kaitlyn yesterday when we had lunch at her house. She is a little stinker, but so precious at the same time. She held on to me for a long time, and guess it was because she hadn't seen me in a while. She is definitely her Grams' girl! It's cloudy and cool out this morning. I've got candles lit all over the house. Hope you are all doing well and will have a great day! |

Home is a place where I love being because I have a very nice husband and most of time I don't feel like being bothered with drama from others. Home is the only place where I am 100% happy. Hi Babygirl, and Hot Pink, I'm happiest at home too. Even though I love my job, I wish I didn't have to work. I like being a housewife. But I know it's a little different for you Hot Pink. Since you don't have a car, and it's hard to get around, I imagine you'd just love to be able to get out more often. I'm glad you're having nice weather. It's been nice here too..finally! We are having our Indian summer. It has been warm and sunny the last few days. I really want to take advantage of it because usually soon after we really get hit with cold weather and snow. Well I'm off to bed now..tomorrow morning will get here too soon. Take care all. |
