Curt just got the work last Thurs. that he is now officially diabetic. We've been expecting it because it is in his family so much. You are so right - it does stink when they die! Glad you like the new photos of T.A. and Kaitlyn. Sorry about Curt's diabetes diagnosis. It does make a huge difference in your life. Have to say I've been bad the past few days, but that will change now that my birthday is over. Can't let myself revert back to my "old ways"! Please tell Curt I'm thinking about him and pray that all goes well for him. Hope you had a good dinner; I'll bet it was delicious! Welcome, Pink kitty, Suegerry, and Babygirl, It's good to see you all posting here. I hope you all are doing well. It's been cold and rainy here in Iowa. Fall is definitely here. Last week the leaves were at their peak color, but now with all the rain they are starting to fall. Hope you are all staying warm! |

Hi Hot Pink, Gommie took a beautiful picture. I wish I could see more of her photos. I'm glad you're staying warm. Thanks for your prayers for Curt. We knew at some point this would probably happen, but it's still bad news when it does. He's being very good about going along with the diet changes. I know it's hard for him because he loves bread, and snacking on sandwiches. When he went to the Dr. today, they said to keep on with the diet changes, and they would check with a fasting blood sugar test in three months. I really think we can control it with diet for now. Good luck to you getting back on track too. Maybe I can get some cooking tips from you for some low carb meals. |
