Hope evreyone is well and happy today. It is a raining here today but I will just embrace it as it is at least 14 degrees out. I hear there is a winderfull french bakery down the road from me. I will comfort myself with a nice croissant (sp?)

Awe I am so very sorry to hear about the pups, what a horrid thing for your neighbor to do. You know if we lived closer I would have been suckered into taking one or two This may sound silly but I would like to think Mamma sent Franze to me in some way. I have met lots of people but so far she is the only girl I have spent time with outside of work and have things in common with. There is also another nice girl from work Jenn and she has actually made efforts to try and do things outside of wotk. Our schedules just have not worked yet. I know you are right, it will all come together in time. There is always reassurence in knowing other people understand what you feel.
Hotpink, I wish you lived in Canada because then you could get most of your healthcare covered, and no one could threaten eviction for dogs. However you woudl have to endure the winters. BUT!! You would have me!

Good morning, Everyone - Can't believe it's Thursday already! It's another beautiful day here; am hoping T.A. will come visit so we can go for a walk and visit the local fire department. He loves fire trucks and even has a fire hat he loves to wear. I'll have to make sure he takes his little fire truck and wears his hat when we go. Hope you will all have a fabulous day!

Hi Hot Pink, I for one am glad its Thurs. The only thing better would be if it were Fri 3:00pm. The weeks are difficult this year with the kids that we have. I try to find comfort that one of them is finally starting to shape up. I've been trying really hard with him to show him some attention and encouragement. He has a very poor home life, and his behavior shows it. He is capable of learning things and I think he could be successful in life if I can just get him to start having a sense of right and wrong. His behavior is much improved from the beginning of the year, but the friends he hangs around with outside of school can talk him into doing things he shouldn't. His parents don't set any kind of example either. So, its going to be difficult, but I'm going to keep trying. He really seems to like the attention and praise I give him.
Tomorrow is senior night at the football game. Curt and I will get called out on the field with Emily and I'll get a flower. It's still really hard for me to accept that my "baby" is a senior and will be heading off to college next fall. It didn't bother me so much with her sisters, I guess because I always had one more still at home. But, this is it. Thank goodness for the grand kids. At least I have them to do all the fun kid stuff with. I'll e-mail you soon and attach some new pictures. Take care!

Good Afternoon, Everyone! It's a nice warm day here and it feels great out. Thomas Alex and I went for a walk and stopped by the Fire Station, where we got to see the fire trucks. T.A. kept saying he wanted to ride in one all the way there, but when he saw how huge the trucks really were he couldn't be coaxed to get in it. The firemen were really nice and it was a great experience for him and me. The, we went to a nice coffee house and got some coffee. Have to confess, T.A. LOVES coffee (thanks to his Grams). Well, now that YR is over, I'm going to get started on my cake. Hope you will all have a great afternoon and an even better weekend!

Hi friends, well we lucked out and it wasn't raining during the senior night football game. It was very cold though. I had so many layers on I must have looked like that kid from Christmas Story. I received a beautiful white rose with a purple ribbon tied on from Emily. Purple and white are our school colors. Sadly we lost the game, but it's been that kind of year. Hope you all are warm and toasty..where ever you are.

Hot Pink, I hope your cake turned out yummy, and that you had a great day. What kind of cake did you make? If you tell me that it was that yummy turtle cake I'm booking a flight. LOL

Hello, my friends! It's a cloudy, cold day here and I've had to turn on my electric heater to help me stop shivering. Had a very nice birthday yesterday; got lots of good wishes from friends and family, which was very nice. And, I appreciate the kinds wishes from my friends at Soaps.com as well.

Hi Hot Pink, I like your new avi. It's a very pretty flower. It really does stink when you have to switch computers. I've had to do it more than once. It seems like it's never just the same, even if I load the same stuff. Thank you so much for sending the pics. The kids are so darling. It was a rainy cold weekend here. I got some laundry done and a little cleaning but that's about all. I'm glad you had a nice birthday. The cake sounds really good. I hope you will behave..that diabetes is nothing to fool with. Curt just got the work last Thurs. that he is now officially diabetic. We've been expecting it because it is in his family so much. Luckily it's still at the stage where diet and exercise can control it. Well supper is about ready so I've got to go. Have a good evening.
