Hi Hot Pink, Bobbie Jean, OAT, and everyone. It's been a while since I've posted. I've just been busy getting settled in back at work. School began Aug 19th for the kids, but I had to start back on the 17th. It's going to be a very challenging year. We have 6 new kids in our room. 5 sixth graders..four of which are very low functioning, and have very bad behavior problems, and an 8th grade boy who is severely autistic. He gets upset and bolts from the room and hides in the building. So far this has happened every day. It took an hour and a half to find him today. I come home very drained and just try to lay down and take a nap. Otherwise things are going well. My new grand son is 6 weeks old now and growing like a weed. Michele started pre school and loves it. Emily is in her senior year now, and very busy with cheer leading and work. I think I'll go now and try to get some sleep. Tomorrow is Fri. Yeah!!!!

Happy Friday, Everyone! I've got Kaitlyn while Thomas, Amanda and Christopher go to the movies. We're having a nice time; she is such a sweet thing! Hope all is well and that you will have a wonderful afternoon!

Hello, Everyone. It's been a while. I've had a terrible Summer cold that kept me in bed for days. I'm feeling a little better now, thank goodness. It's good to be up and about. The pups have been keeping Christopher busy; they've found a couple of places where they can get out of the fence. So, he's had to round them up a few times today. I sure wish we could find homes for the remaining two ASAP! It's in the mid-to-high 70's today, and it feels great out. Hope you are all doing well and are having a nice day!

Hi Hot Pink, Sorry to hear you've had a cold. I hope you're feeling better. I'm having one of those sleepless nights again. I know I'll be tired at work, but I just can't sleep. My allergies have been bothering me too. I wish I could tear my nose off. All I do is sneeze and sniff. Our weather here has been great. Its in the 40s at night and low 70s in the day. That's more like October weather. I'll take it though. Have you found homes for all your pups yet? Take care.

Hello, Everyone! Still haven't been feeling up to par. Went to the ER last night because of my cold/headache/overall pain and the cut I've had on the bottom of my foot for a while. For the first time in YEARS, my blood pressure was extremely high (175/100), so I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow morning to see what can be done about it. And, I'm going to see about the cut on the bottom of my foot that I've had for a while now. They took a blood test and there's no infection anywhere, so that's good. Hope you are all doing well. I've just been keeping my feet up taking it easy for most of the day. I'm told Kaitlyn started walking by herself Wednesday morning, which makes me very happy! When I talk to Thomas, I can hear her in the background and I can tell she is so proud of herself. Thomas Alex had his mom call me this morning so he could talk to me. I think I'm going to teach him how to use the speed dial on the phones so he can call me when he wants to. I hope you are all doing well. I'll let you know what the doctor says tomorrow.
