My granddaughters had a dance recital this past weekend, it was nice. I know how you feel about your dad because I miss my mother everyday, she has been dead for 8 years. There are times that I see something or hear something that I want to share with her, I'll go to the phone to call her and it's at that time that I remember that she's no longer with us physically but she will always be in my heart. Hang in there, remember the good and special times that you had with him and you'll get through the difficult times. |

Hi everyone hope you are all having a good day. H.p I hope the shot help it is the pits when you are hurting. I know how you feel Mama died one day before my dad's birthday and tho he has been gone 20 years and actually died 10 days before Jessica's birthday It just really hits home. I hope you enjoy your day and hope you know you are always in my thoughts and prayers as are our little luvbugs. |

Shorty, glad you are back online. Oh I miss those days when my girls were in dance, gymnastic, track, etc. I know I was so much more excited they were. Ofcourse I always embarrassed them by getting so excited for them but I was so proud. I know how you feel about your mother I still wake up in the morning and think I got to call Dad and he has been gone over 20 years. But it is true they will always be with us and I'm sure they are just as proud and excited as we are. |

And, I'm happy to say I didn't get a migraine today. Had a nice visit with my aunt (daddy's sister) and uncle. I'm sorry about your mother. You are so right about something happening that you wish you could share with her. I think of my daddy when I'm with T.A. and Kaitlyn and I know he would be so proud of them. Every Christmas is hard on the family because mom's birthday was on that day. Every Christmas, my siblings,their children, my son, the girls and I go to her grave site to pray, she would have enjoyed watching the girls dance. I hope you feel better soon. Losing a parent is one of the most traumatic things that can happen to someone, especially when you've been really close. But, we do get through it somehow, and always remember the good things we shared. Hope you are doing well tonight and will have a great evening. |

bolin - hope your doing better. I am a 56 year old grandmother and love it. Ten in all. Eight of them are biologically mine and two from my 2nd husband. Right now I have two of them two days a week and they're watching Disney. So glad about this chat site too, cuz it gets so boring sometimes during the day. Just nice to have some gals out there to chat with. |

Well, my friends, we have two puppies so far. The first one is a solid black male with a white spot on his chest just like Shadow, and the second is a girl who is light tan/white with markings like Sadie. Sadie is taking her own sweet time having the pups. I'll take photos soon, and will let you know how many puppies Sadie ends up having. It's so exciting, and Sadie is doing really well! |

We now have SEVEN puppies, 4 boys and 3 girls (I think). Sadie is very watchful when I pick them up so I haven't had the chance to check them all out properly. I should have more details tomorrow. May even have more puppies. Sadie has been having them every hour since since 3:45 this afternoon. The puppies are so cute. All of the boys are solid black like Shadow, and one girl is, too. There's another girl who is black/tan with white markings on her side and neck - she's a combination of Sadie and Shadow, which I think is great! And, I just love the light tan/white girl!! Betcha can't tell I'm excited! |
