Hello, Everyone! Happy Saturday! Hope you are all doing well. It's sunny here and feels great out. Went to Walmart and the $ Store with my mom earlier to get a few things. It was nice to get out. Take care, my friends, and have a great weekend. And, Mamabing, I really miss you!

Hi everyone, hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Welcome to the board 1Soap. I'm sure you will enjoy the great people on here. H.p. aren't those kids the cutest thing. I always make songs up for Luke and so long as I clap and keep a steady beat he will dance and try to sing. Gotta love them. I wish I was so easily entertained. Ladies did anyone get your card from Rick and Walley? I got mine yesterday with a pamplet from the funeral. I thought that was so considerate and I greatly appreciated it. It is pretty warm here today. Walked right down the street to the store this morning and had a bad hotflash. I was dry heaving so I stopped and sat in the shade. Leave it to my luck I was try to look inconspicious and some little old drunk Mexican man came and sat with me while trying to hit on me. I was thinking please guy give me a break. He asked my name and when I said Denise he started singing that old song "Denise,Denise I am so in love with you." Hotflash or not I was out of there. Cracks me up some of the people you come across especially when you are trying to avoid anyone. Now I am going to set my lazy butt down and hope there is something on t.v. Hope you all enjoy your day!

That would be great. Then I could tell you how much I hate
the new Mackenzie. How much I like the idea of Chloe becoming more human. I'd like to see her continue to get a
backbone & stand up to Billie. I would like to see Billy
realize a little too late that he really loves Chloe & try
to pursue her for once. Of course we know that Caine is not
really Caine & that is interesting. Still love to see the
old Ryan back (maybe as his twin brother) & I'd like to see
Victoria shocked & then attracted to him. I'd lke to see
JT back with Coleen & Jack & Phyllis drawn back together.
It's time they had a "sleep over" like Nick & Sharon. And
most of all I'd like to see the Newman men reunited with
their soulmates.

Good evening ladies, I haven't been on for a few days so I thought I'd better catch up. This past week went by quickly. We had a lot of special activities planned for the kids, and they loved it. We really had a good bunch of kids this year. I guess from what I hear, we'll pay for it next year. Supposedly we have three very difficult boys coming into our class. Oh well, I'm not going to think about that, it's SUMMER! The kid's last day was Fri. I still have to go back on Mon. morning and work till noon. I have a few more things to clean up and pack away. We had some very bad news on Thurs. My mother in law called and told us that my father in law has terminal cancer. My husband is taking it very hard. They live in TX, so we're planning a trip down at the first part of July. His birthday is the 2nd but we probably wont arrive until the 3rd. Angie is going with us and she can't miss any of her CNA classes. She gets done at 7:30 on the 2nd so we'll leave right after that and drive straight through..12 hours. Angie is taking it very hard too, she is really a grandpa's girl. And Emily cried because she wanted them to come up and see her graduate next year. The doctors have given him about 6 months to live. He had a tumor taken off his pancreas last fall, and went through chemo. They thought they got it all, but when he went for a follow up they found it in his liver, and the doctors said it was too late and it would continue to spread to other organs. If they do chemo, it might slow things down a bit but there is no way to cure it. My f-i-l said no, just let it be. This is very difficult for all of us to handle. My f-i-l is a wonderful and kind man. That is why I haven't been on in a few days. It's just been a rough few days. Sorry for such a long and depressing post. I hope all of you have been doing well.

Oh Messy I am so sorry that just breaks my heart. My dad died over twenty years ago from cancer and when I hear someone else is suffering from it seems just like it happened yesterday. God bless your family and please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I really can't blame him for wanting to be left alone. That chemo is so hard on them and it just gives them hope to be disapointed again. I hope you all hang in there and don't give up hope. All my love, Denise

Dear Hot Pink, and OAT, thank you for your kind words and prayers. It's hard to know what to do right now. My husband doesn't handle death at all well. Even though he is a Christian and believes in eternal life, he just can't get past the image of the grave, and the thought of how much he is going to miss his dad. All I know to do is just hold him. He knows I know how he feels because I lost my dad 11 years ago and my sister 4 years ago. So we don't talk much, he just cries and I hold him. Thanks to you all for giving me some one to talk to about everything.

Messy, you know you always have us all to talk to. You know so long as you let him grieve his own way and whatever way it is, so long as you are right there for him he will do o.k. Sad things is you grieve before they are gone because you already feel the loss or worse you are dreading the loss before they are gone. That really is the hardest part not like anything will ever be any easier to deal with. Just hang in there! There is nothing more comforting than to have loved ones there when you need them. Bless your hearts I really feel for all of you!

Messy, so sorry I just had a thought aren't you lucky Phyllis isn't around about now. Sorry I know that was rude but I couldn't help think of her. Darn I need to quit watching the y/r. I was just trying to cheer you up alittle. I really have some stupid humor, I apologize. Love you guys hope you all have a safe trip! Take care friend!

Good Sunday morning, Everyone! It's a beautiful day here, but it's going to be hot. I think I'm coming down with a cold or something. My throat is scratchy and I've got a headache. Looks like T.A. has shared his cold with me. Oh, well!

Messy cook - please know you all of your family are in my prayers. It was hard for me nearly 12 years ago when my dad died from cancer. So, I do understand what your husband is going through. Holding him when he needs you is the beset thing you can do. Please know that whenever you need to talk or vent, we're here for you! I hope you are all doing well today.

Old and Tired - Hope Luke, Nick and Jessica are all doing well. Will you be seeing Luke today? If so, please give him lots of hugs and kisses from me. Hope you are doing okay, too, and that you will have a great day!

Ladies I just found the Denise song on youtube by randy and the rainbows came out same year as I was born maybe that's where my mom came up with the name. My friend did not believe me there really was a real song. Ofcourse sounded alittle different when an older drunk Mexican guy is singing it. Would have sent it for you to get a kick out of but I am not good at doing e-mail with you tube or any other program. Hope you all enjoy your evening.
