We've had weird weather lately, colder and snowier winter than usual. We live very far south in the state so winters aren't usually too harsh. Spring has been cool and wet. Summers are usually hot and humid, fall, very colorful. Not too bad all in all. |

It's nice to see everybody talking civil. It's nice. I'm from beautiful British Columbia Canada or atleast that's what they put on our car licsense plates.Happy belated Mother's Day to all the Mother's out there. I am just a new grandma as of Jan.8th this yr., a sweetest little boy named Kalen.Wakes up smiling all the time. I have 2 boys and a girl and have turned 46 in April.I have become disabled (RSD)for the last 10.5 yrs. over a Tetnus shot gone wrong, long story. Another reality t.v. junkie but not as bad as some. I hope they keep this thread. |

I assume most of us are from Canada or the U.S. |

It is difficult going through them and I guess the obstacles are placed in our path so we can really appreciate the good. I know the support of friends and family means so much, so please consider me a source of support. |

Quote Uggerly: Quote Lizzylew: Hi all you young-uns! I just turned 66 and the irony of it is, I don't feel old and don't want to be old. So I hang out with young people (hope you don't mind). My goodness Lizzylew!! Sounds to me, like you have had a less than boring life!!! I'm really proud of you! I am going to turn 66, in July, and I am pooped most days. But, I feel young and try to keep up, as best I can! I was a Dance Teacher, for a long time, and a weight trainer too! And, then I worked as a property Manager, for a while with my hubby! We had a lot of fun working together. Started as a bartender. That's where I met him. He was drinking and throwing darts, in a competitive league, and I was working!!!!!!!! HaHa!...Oh, Hubby and I love Boston Legal, and I watch Brothers and sisters! We also have more in common! I have 3 kids and 5 steps!! And, 16 Grandkids total! Plus I've survived many surgeries, Cancer and Cardiomyopathy.Long long story! Good morning, Uggerly, Wow! We are vintage! |

Well, this is great news since Oregon has over 700 wineries. We've only lived here two years (from Vermont) so we have quite a few winery visits in store. I love the idea of wine pairings. That sounds like such a neat job! |
