tilo so sorry to hear about your dad i know what you are going through lost my mom to cancer nearly 4 years ago but you don't want to hear that now just know you are in my prayers and if you need to talk i am here bless you and your family |

Most of you know my Dad is batteling cancer and he is in his 8th week of chemo, he has suffered very few side effects, he has not lost a hair or a pound. He can do most things except work of course. he also got diagnosed last Monday with Lung cancer. he does not smoke but guess who does. His wife, and she smokes around him still even with this new information and him on Chemo. I am not judging anyone who smokes, I used to smoke and at times feel like I want one. I think my Dads needs should be more important then her need to smoke. She could at least go outside. Anyway, I went to see him Friday and he seems to have things in perspective. It's just really up and down for me. Do any of you have any experience with lung cancer? They have not yet said what the treatment plan is. But if any of you have stories or info to share with me I would appreciate it. Thanks, I am having friends over for Turkey dinner and it is so nice we can actually eat it in the backyard. I will be here off and on or if anyone has any info for me or a storey to share feel free to e-mail me. Hope you are having a good day all xoxoxoo Oh Tilo, I am so sorry that your Dad has now come down with lung cancer, on top of it all. I know that many of your friends here, are still praying for him, and as strong as he seems to be, I'll bet he will come through this just fine. I do know of two people who have survived lung cancer, in the past few yrs., and they are in remission. Cancer is a funny thing. I have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer almost three yrs. ago, and I'm not yet in remission, but my two friends who had cancer and went through the chemo ,at the same time that I did, are now in remission.Their Cancer's were Breast first,for one, then lung.The other friend just had the lung cancer. It was initially a very fast and dangerous diagnosis, but it turned out great!! He is full of the dickens now,again.So, God love you and yours. My husband has never smoked in the same room as me, since then though. I do think it is very thoughtless and not in Dad's best interests. Some people.I hope that you were able to have a nice Thanksgiving meal together. Love, Uggs |

My mom and I are going shopping in a little while so I can get some groceries and try to find T.A. a few things for his birthday. Can't believe my boy will be two!  Hope all is well and that you will have a wonderful day! Hi HP! That is great, little T>A> is going to be two yrs. old! My Kyle will be 5 ,and his party is Sunday, at a play place, for kids. I hope Kyle will have a wonderful birthday and party! Please give him lots of hugs and kisses for me! I was able to get a couple of things for T.A. that I think he will like. One is a talking broom (he loves to sweep the kitchen) and another is a talking Thomas the Tank Engine phone which talks, plays music, etc. He loves trains! My mom and I took T.A. with us today, and he was such a good boy. |
