Gommie the name sound familiar but i'm not sure that's been along time ago,Wally and i quit the club about 10 years ago when i started having so much trouble with my knees.

Hi everyone, I don't have too much time to post tonight, I have baking to do. But I wanted to pop in and let you know I'm thinking about you all. Boy did I catch heck for not being at the FM last week. Gosh it's only the second time I missed. Oh well, it's good to know they like my stuff. I didn't get a chance to get on the computer yesterday, I had a house full of cheerleaders from 4 o'clock to about 9:30. They were baking cookies for their varsity football players. They have a tradition where the cheerleaders divide up the team and supply them with goodie bags on game day. Usually it's just some candy, but Emily thought it would be nice to give them all homemade cookies. So it was a little crazed around here last night. But fun.
I hope everyone is doing well. I just glanced through the last page and a half. It looks like there are some very busy and generous people among us. I'm looking forward to having the time to go back and read all the pages I've missed since Wed. I will probably be back on later when I have things in the oven.

Bobie Jean so sorry about that. What absolutely considerate and caring people are on this board. Man I wish I could be around you all so it would remind me there are some wonderful people out there. It is really consoling and refreshing. Hey I love the Eagles. How about Creedance Clearwater Revival. I learned their music when I was young and still love them. Will be leaving in awhile to hangout with my grandson this weekend. My daughter works two different jobs on the weekend so I try to give my son-n-law alittle help. He does an incredible job but lord Knows he can use all the help he can get. That boy could wear Richard Simmons out. Hope you all have a great weekend and wanted to let you know I have had a great week talking to you all. Especially today with Tennis on. Hey I finally got those homegrown tomatoes. Yeah they were awesome!

Hi Gommie I remembered the name Paul Overstreet but couldn't quite remember his music. I looked it up on lime wire. I so remember how good he is and man he did some good songs with Tanya Tucker. My sister actually met her when Tanya was only like 15 years old playing in a nightclub. My sister was happy because she was only 18 going in the club. They went to dinner after and my sister said she was a great person. Man now I have to start listening to his music. My kids think I am a freak because I get a certain artist I want to listen to and play them to death. Thanks for the memories.

Tilo that is really wonderful that your friend would do something so special for you. And it say something about you both. She is a generous soul, that she would do this, and you... that she cares that much about your own special qualities that she would want to do this.

Hi Messy sounds like you going to be a busy bee tonight,isn't nice that your missed those people at the FM are used to you being there,they miss all your goodies,can i put in an order for 5 pies ja i wished to bad i don't live near you i would help you pick does apples i used to love to go out in the early morning and pick apples,pears plums and all that good fresh fruit,my grandfather had a big garden with all kinds of fruit and veg.we never got the fruit and veg.from the store it was all fresh and home grown i really miss that alot.

Oh Gosh! Kevin called a half hour ago in a panic because a huge film fest event fall apart ( I guess not enough staff)and he wanted me to put my blacks on and he would come pick me up and have me go work there. I could'nt because all my work clothes and shoes are at work. I felt so bad and he sounded so frusterated. I feel bad but jeez. Now I can't get as hold of but I text him to apolagize again. It's to bad cause I could have used the money and it would have been nice to help him out. I guess I will have a glass of wine as it does'nt look like he will behome anytime soon.

Tilo sorry you couldn't help Kevin,and i'm sure he feels as bad as you do,i guess you have to keep some of your work cloth at home in case of emergency you can help him out.
