Hi HotPink......I am doing better, thanks to all of you!!....Cin is doing ok- as long as she is with us she is secure- Mike said she had a busy time at the airport and she had a nice time at the beach too-Lamar's surgeon who did his surgery May 07 called to tell us he was sorry,I thought that was so nice of him-he reminded us that we were so fortunate to have had the time with him that we did.......he said it was extra time and all Lamar's doing- he said that little guy should not have made it through surgery-much less survive a year and a half after wards-but he was a little fighter and so wanted to live. He had told us that once before, but it is nice to have him call and say it again-we are feeling very blessed have had all this extra time with that little man--we have our moments-but that is normal we just need to go through the process....


gommie - Glad Cin had a good time at the airport with Mike. And the beach, well I think there's something magical about it because it always seems to soothe my soul when I'm there! It was really nice that Lamar's surgeon called you. He is absolutely right about Lamar being a fighter and wanting to stay with you for as long as he possibly could. He was a very special little guy! By the way, if you get kind of angry and decide to throw something, make sure it isn't a two pound bag of M&M's. It takes forever to find them all! I'm glad you're doing a little better, my friend!

Yep he was my little sweetheart- god love him ..its going to take a while to get used to not having him in our lives....

thanks so much gomie it feels good at the end of the day you are bone tired and you also know you have done something worthwile to make someone elses live a little easier hot pink sorry to hear about your knee those little guys can sure be lively can't they? lilamoor i hope every is goig well this evening and everyone elses evening is going well i had to get off the computer earlier we were having a big thunder and lighting storm but its all settled down now

gommie - Sounds like you and my sons would get along great - they like to bang on the walls too!

I know it will take time, but it will get easier, and you will always have your wonderful memories of your precious little guy!

I know what you mean about getting a decent people doctor. My knee surgeon sure disappointed me. I know there's the saying, "Pets are people, too," but it seems pets are better than people in most cases because they bring out the best in people (well, at least most people).

Hello Hot Pink, Gommie, mamabing, bobbiejean, Lilamoor, Eppy, Uggerly, Tilo, and babygirl,
I hope I remembered everybody. I just wanted to say a quick hello. I don't know where my time went today. I got home from work this afternoon and I was tired so I thought I'd lay down for a few minutes and rest. Well...it was more that a few minutes, more like a few hours. We ended up ordering out for supper, and by the time I got to the nursing home to see mom, they had locked the doors for the night. I had to ring the bell to get in. Now it's time that I should be thinking about going to bed, but I still have things to do, plus I'm not really sleepy now. But, I think I'll try to get the last load of clothes done and go to bed anyway. Maybe I'll sleep after all.

Gommie how are you doing tonight,it was sure nice of that surgeon to call you,you get better treatment from a vet than from a people doctor.
Well if it comes to hitting the walls Gommie i think our boys get the blue ribbon they dont just hit the wall they put holes in it,i dont know how many holes we had to patch does two boys have moms and dads temper i'm afraid wally and i have bad tempers,i guess were mellowing a little since we got older,some of the fights does two had i wanted to pull my hair out and theres.

Well i didn't get my pie entered in the fair it snuck up on me before i realized the fair started today.
oh well there is always next year.

How are you doing this evening,did you enjoy your night off
it's always nice when you can get away from work for a day.
How much longer before you finished with school,i hope that you will be able to go to germany one day to see the vinyards there if you do go,go to Bingen and Ruedesheim thats were alot of our wine comes from,and vinyards are beautyful to see on the slopes along the Rhine.

I'm doing fine mamabing, I'm sorry you didn't get your pie entered in time. I bet it would have won first prize. Did you ever ask Wally if you could share that recipe with me?
If not..I understand. I'm about done with the laundry. I want to stay up till it comes out of the dryer so I don't have to iron things. Then I'll try to go to sleep.

I know it is a lot of work bobbiejean-100 years ago I worked on the autism ward at a state mental facility--things have improved SO MUCH-the work you do takes a very very special person........

I don't make holes....I just hit at times like this -it seems to help..for whatever reason..at least for a minute or two..I am sorry your knee surgeon disappointed you-that is why I work over time trying to stay away from their services....You still have appt for the 8th?
