Gommie sorry about your friend,wally's sister had bone cancer she died when she was 42 they had 4 kids,because that been 38 years ago and about 10 years ago his nephew diet from a heart attack while playing golf he was 32 and had a wife and little girl.You never know when the men calls you up stairs. |

Had the nephew had a heart problems- or was it one of those freak heart things that was a sleeper? |

They said she had breast cancer she was 32 than it spread to her bones after they diagnosed her she lived about 10 years there wasn't anything they could do for her she was to far gone,and the nephew was her son as far as we know he was healty he had a check up 1 month before. |

That you get my e-mail had a little trouble with that stupid thing. Wow- once it gets in the bone that is pretty much it-The nephew must have had one of those sleeper heart conditions that are rare- no one knows until it is too late -my hubby had surgery for a melanoma last Sept- talk about scary-the thing they don't stress when they are telling you to stay out of the sun and warning you about melanoma- is that there is no treatment for it- except surgery- if melanoma spreads and gets into the lymph nodes and beyond there is no treatment....when we first discovered it I was thanking god for chemo- but shortly learned that chemo has no effect on melanoma- so we were pretty scared and so grateful that the lymph nodes were clean-they removed two of them to biopsy- I got your email-did you get my reply? |

Yes we were scared especially once we understood that there is NO CURE- I don't understand why they don't stress that to people when they are saying stay out of the sun- they need to say 'there is no treatment for melanoma' once you get that bugger--its pretty much a done deal--all they can do is cut it out where it is and if it has spread..goodbye charlie...that is what they need to be telling people...... |

Now you know your self you can lead a horse to water but can't make him drink,i keep telling our daughters-in-law that but that's like wistling dixi,because they do put sun screen on the kids at least that is something. |

Just like Toms wife she lost her mother to cancer and she was told she had the cancer gene but smokes like a chimany. She tells us she can't quit smoking Wally told her you can if you want to. Yep, that is so right mama--you have to want to quit for yourself- if you do -you can and will..... I don't know where everyone is..haven't see hotpink today- or have I? I forget |
