Thanks. But, no since she is basically family, it really can't sue her. It could cause a huge rift between our families, and I wouldn't want to do any more damage that has already been done. best not stir the pot, if all has settled down. i sure hope she knows how bad she hurt you and has tried to make amends. sounds like that fight would make jill and kays fight seem tame. hope that made you chuckle  i have a relative similiar to her, but luckily i do not have to go near him very often  good nite

And, from that test he will be able to tell you if it really is a damaged nerve or not. Then you could take it from there. If it's not nerve damage, then your other surgeon/physican will know from the neurologist's report what it is or is not. He will then have an idea what more he needs to look for or what stradegy he wants to approach. With the combination of pain and numbness, like I said, I myself would see the neurologist first.

Hi, Eppy - I was attacked last year by my son's girlfriend's mother who was very drunk at the time. My left knee was totally crushed and my left leg broken in three places. Had to have a total knee replacement several months later because my leg was severely crooked. The knot on the side of my knee and the numbness occurred after the knee replacement. Since my current doctor says he can't do anything about it, I'll be seeing another doctor in a couple of weeks to get a 2nd opinion. The knot and side of my knee and leg are numb, though the area surrounding the knot hurts a lot when you touch it. I also keep having very sharp pains in the knot. And, there are times when I lose sensation where the knot is and nearly fall. I'm certainly not against another operation if that is what it will take to fix the problem (whatever it is). Wow, I've never heard of gout in other places other than the big toe either. I'm so glad your friend is doing okay now! Thanks for your concern and good wishes. Eppy - Maybe you can answer my question - When I went to the Neurologist in June, he told me he could not stick needles in the knot or surrounding area or in the side of the leg where the numbness is. I have an appointment with the same Neurologist on Sept 8, and I've also made an appointment with another surgeon to get a 2nd opinion about the knee. I've been wondering if I should see the Neurologist first and then go see the doctor, or get the 2nd opinion first then go to the Neurologist. What do you think? Thanks! |

I finally made an appointment with our family dr, who re-exrayed and the leg was fractured. To make things worse the hospital kept sending us a bill. Oh my God Lila! Your husband should have sued too!!There are so many cases where we hesitate to sue, but some of these Drs. do deserve it!!! |

He send me to another surgeon and he saved my life. MaMa, you must be a very strong person. For something so terrible to happen to you, and you managed to survive it? You really had a case there! I think i would have had to press charges, for damages, or something with that Dr.In fact, I don't know why you still wouldn't have a case against something so drastic, especially if something should turn up, like an infection, later on.I pray not, but ...Good Lord, I've never heard of anything like that! |

Your grandkids are the age group I work with...6-8 th. That's about the time things get a little harder, and there's more homework, so they start not to like school so much. That reward from grandpa should help though. I hope you don't go broke..LOL. LOL LOL LOL..*roflmao* LOL @ working around your schedule- are you a teacher messycook- If I knew I forgot-sorry..
