Messy i dont have much trust in doctors any more,it was the surgeon that operated on me in 01 he keept telling me that the drainage would stop but it didn't,then when my legs started to break open is when my family doctor send me to the plastic surgeon and figured out what was wrong. |

Quote mamabing15: Ja i'm doing real good the infection was from surgery i had in 2001 and they didn't find it until 2004 and in does 3years got really sick after the plastic surgeon found out what it was i had surgery and when he opened me my whole insides was infected i'm still recovering but the worst is over and i'm on the mend. mamabing15 - I can't imagine how awful this was for you! GOMMIE no i didn't but i should have had i known how long i would be sick i would have sued,matter of fact i had Tom check with the states attorney and he said i would have had a case if i sued even in 06 but not now,you have to sue with in 5 years in cases like that. |

Goodnight. Sweet dreams...sleep well.. Speaking of drs.. my husband hurt his leg a couple years ago at work. He went to emergency they exrayed and said it was okay... Just take over the counter pain meds. For a month he hobbled about at work with such a painful leg, he would come home with it all swollen, he tried ice... which made it worse. I finally made an appointment with our family dr, who re-exrayed and the leg was fractured. To make things worse the hospital kept sending us a bill. |

Since you didn't find out what was wrong until 2004, I should think you still have a case. It certainly won't hurt to check it out! |
