you should consider sueing this woman who did this to you. i do not know the situation that led up to this, but a civil lawsuit might help. i would talk to an attorney. you may get something for medical expenses. i am sorry she hurt you so badly. |

HotPink isn't there anything you can take for the pain until you go to the doctor,i sure hope he find out what is wrong,this guys just don't care is like i told you this morning it was a plastic surgeon that diagnosed my problems i looked at my doctor like she was nuts when she send me to him,well i thought i got nothing to lose wally thought he would maybe but some skingrafts on my legs because from the infection they broke open,the doctors at the hospital had me diagnosed all wrong. |

I'm back, that'll teach me. Never get off the computer when you want to use it...not when there's a teenager in the house. No matter HOW bad you gotta go pee, just hold it. I know it's important to be in touch with friends..like me right now, but GEEZ, she was just at school today, and we DO have a phone. But we had to go through drama about ME being addicted to the computer, and how I NEVER let her use it. GMAB. Oh well, you see who won that one.. |

Shoot-- Lamar is finally asleep- poor little guy-we'll take him to the vet in the morning- I just hate to b/c my regular vet is out with knee surgery until next monday- can't wait till then though-- thanks for your prayers and concern guys.. |

Hi, Eppy - I was attacked last year by my son's girlfriend's mother who was very drunk at the time. My left knee was totally crushed and my left leg broken in three places. Had to have a total knee replacement several months later because my leg was severely crooked. The knot on the side of my knee and the numbness occurred after the knee replacement. Since my current doctor says he can't do anything about it, I'll be seeing another doctor in a couple of weeks to get a 2nd opinion. The knot and side of my knee and leg are numb, though the area surrounding the knot hurts a lot when you touch it. I also keep having very sharp pains in the knot. And, there are times when I lose sensation where the knot is and nearly fall. I'm certainly not against another operation if that is what it will take to fix the problem (whatever it is). Wow, I've never heard of gout in other places other than the big toe either. I'm so glad your friend is doing okay now! Thanks for your concern and good wishes. Eppy - Maybe you can answer my question - When I went to the Neurologist in June, he told me he could not stick needles in the knot or surrounding area or in the side of the leg where the numbness is. I have an appointment with the same Neurologist on Sept 8, and I've also made an appointment with another surgeon to get a 2nd opinion about the knee. I've been wondering if I should see the Neurologist first and then go see the doctor, or get the 2nd opinion first then go to the Neurologist. What do you think? Thanks! |

Hot Pink, I agree it's definately time for another opinion. It's clear that things are not as they should be. Something is causing the pain and swelling. Just keep searching for an answer. I'll be praying that they can figure out what's wrong and fix it. It's time for you to be able to get out and have some fun. |

Thanks. But, no since she is basically family, it really can't sue her. It could cause a huge rift between our families, and I wouldn't want to do any more damage that has already been done. |

Mamabing, The little kids are so cute. They most always like school. What grades are Christa, and the 12 year olds in? The kids I saw today were mostly glad to be back, then there were a few who weren't. |

So, I tend to do a lot of the Lamaze breathing exercises I used when I had my sons (and just grin and bear it, too). Ibuprofen helps a little, too, which is good! It's a good thing that you went to that plastic surgeon! It may have been a long shot, but it really paid off for you! I hope I get lucky this time and we'll find out what is wrong and that it can be fixed. |

How is everyone tonight. HotPink I hope your are feeling better, and not in too much pain. I take a product I get from the health food store called joint care. It helps me with the pain I have... although I still have some in my low back that doesn't seem to go... but it helps my knees, along with absorbine for horses. LOL... sounds bad... but it does work... makes me able to jump around like a girl. |
