Hot pink have you heard from gommie i noticed she didn't post yesterday,and not much the day before i hope she is okay,maybe something happened to lamar i sure hope not.

I think gommie is probably focused on LaMar - I got an email from her night before last with a status report and LaMar was still hanging in. I think she posted here early yesterday tho.

Thanks HP i'm feeling alot better,was going to see the baby's but hubby changed his mind,o well he does that alot.
But i'm glad he changed his mind because he didn't get much sleep last night,he was worried about me.

didn't go to see the kids hubby changed his mind i think he was to tired to drive.

ja i'm really lucky to have him there are not to many man like him he takes very good care of me,even when i get mad at him.
I swear the man is a saint if i want to make him mad i call him saint Wally that really p-sses him off.

Hot pink well i was wrong the rain we were going to get it must have gone some where else,we got a little yesterday morning for about 15min.and that was it,it's supposed to rain until tuesday the weatherman sure doesn't know what he's talking about because it is a furnace out there and the humidity is enough to choke you.it's 7:00pm and it is 98 out.

Good evening ladies. I'm finally getting around to posting again. I slept a lot yesterday, and ended up going to bed pretty early too. We went and visited my mom today. The nursing home had a family day. They grilled hamburgers, and hot dogs and had all kinds of other goodies. There was a country western band there playing too. Everyone had a good time. I know it's probably expensive for the nursing home to put these events on, they don't charge anybody for eating, but I wish they'd do stuff like this more often. The residents at the nursing home have such a good time when something special is going on. They had planned on having the food served outside like a picnic but the heat and humidity were just too much today.
On another note, my 16 year old had her first accident today. Hubby was in a panic of course. She called and said.. I had an accident, BUT IT WASN'T MY FAULT! She wanted us to come and be with her because she was scared. We jumped in the car and found her. She was right, it wasn't her fault, a guy in a truck swerved into her lane and hit her. No one was hurt, and her car wasn't hurt too much, its a tank, but it still shook her up. The guy was driving without a valid licence, it was suspended, but he did have insurance. I'll bet his fine is huge.
All in all its been a very interesting day so far.
