Quote HOT PINK: Quote gommie: Hi HOTPINK--thanks....the vet will look him over good- my thing is I don't trust anyone but my vet-his associate will see Lamar and she will check him over good-but I will still take him back on when my vet gets back on Monday-every doctor has their own idea how to treat-and it seems it is always different-- My goodness you kids were out late last night -how was the movie? Sounds like a nice outing for you-something Gracie should come today- keep the faith--I'd like to see her make it on her own.... gommie - Well, at least the lady vet can get Lamar's eye taken care of today! Please let me know how things go! Yes, we were out pretty late. I tried to get Thomas to take us somewhere for an early morning breakfast afterwards, but he wouldn't (darn it!). I really hope "something" Gracie will come today; but, if not today or this weekend, at least we know she'll be here Monday. HotPink LOL..something Gracie is running out of time if she is going to arrive tonight--darn..I felt sure she would be here by now *sigh* I'm sorry Thomas didn't take you out to breakfast-that would have been perfect-- Lamar's eye was ulcerated as I thought-he has dry eye and the dry eye caused the eye to ulcerate-so we got meds to put in his little eyes from now on- the vet said his heart doesn't sound any worse than it did two weeks ago and there is no fluid in his lungs..she thinks his kidneys are the cause of these latest symptoms-she did a blood panel-she said he is well hydrated though-which she didn't understand-those vet techs all love Lamar and they were all standing around crying and hugging me-and that made me nervous- like maybe they knew something I didn't-anyway the vet will call tomorrow with the results- and she still wants Dr O to see him on Monday- so that is all I know for now.. Cinderella did a funny thing-- Our vets hospital is on a corner- so when we got there we were able to park against the curb right next to his hosp....take a few steps and you are inside- each of his exam rooms has a door leading outside as well- I took Lamar in alone and hubby sat out in the car with Cinderella-when they took us to the exam room-hubby then joined us-- about 15 minutes later one of the techs knocked on the door and said, there is someone waiting out here to join you- in fly's Cinderella- hubby had left the back door of the van open when he came inside to join us(I had no idea he had done such a thing)-anyway she comes flying in and finds herself a place and lays down on the floor- turns out she got out of the van- the lady she entered the hospital with said when she walked up Cinderella was patiently sitting by the door- as soon as she opened it Cinderella flew in and went to the exam room we were in and waited for someone to open the door and let her in....the techs were all cracking up laughing at her...... So I guess we'll know more tomorrow about Lamar...please keep him in your prayers....... |

Our Lady dog went down hill after Nanook went, and she went two years younger. Still old for a dog mind you, but I know she went into depression without Nanook. About Nick giveing me the next foot rub~~~~wouldn't that be just the thing. Tilo~~~still praying for you and your dad. Hotpinkg ~ my hubby loved your poem ~ and I got to hear his laugh. I hope you are doing better too; I know how exhausting it is when you're worrying so much! Will you be going to visit him this weekend? If so, please have a safe trip. |

Hi, gommie - I'm sorry to say, no luck Friday either; I'm pretty sure our girl will get here on Monday when they induce her. Do have other news about babies, though. Thomas' Pit Bella gave birth to nine pretty pups yesterday/last night. She has 5 boys and 4 girls. Thomas says a lot of them look like his beloved Skeet (the sire of Tyson the Pit they mated Bella with), and a couple of them are champagne colored like Bella, and he says one is Blue like Bella's mother. Hopefully, Thomas is going to take me to my mom's this afternoon so I can see them and take lots of pictures. I'm so glad Lamar's eye has been taken care of. I'm sure he feels a lot better now, too. Sounds like the staff at your vet's really love Lamar (and Cinderella). She is really something! A lot of dogs might have run off, but Cinderella just wanted to be with you and Lamar. Tell her I'm really impressed! Hope you are doing well today. How's your hand. Hope it isn't too painful. I'm doing fine; am having a bit of a lazy day so far. I'm planning to do some more cleaning in a little while. I'm having a few twinges in the lower right side of my back; guess I've been overdoing it a bit lately. But, I just had to get some things done! Please let me know the results of the blood tests. And, hope you'll have a great day! I send you some pics of the pups when I get them developed. |

He's getting possessive, so I think that's a sign that he's there to stay! Hope you're having a wonderful Saturday. |

Hi My Friends and Happy Sunday!Ooops, I meant Saturday!!! |
HOT PINK![]() |
Quote Uggerly: Hi My Friends and Happy Sunday! I've been busy with Grand kids and the party, for my Daughter-Ihn_Law, last night was great! She was surprised and my son did a great job. But, I was so stired when I got home, with the Grand kids,so I sent them down to the apt, with the big boys, to watch movies and I went to bed!!! But, Baby- I hope your test came out better than you first thought! No surgery! Gommie- I hope that lamar is resting today, and how cute it was, that Cin and your husband were able to pop in on him !! Lila-I hope that your little pinky is better, and give that hubby a little slap on the hands!!Lol! MaMa-I understand how it is, with the little Grands, they are too much these days, aren't they? Messy-I hope that little Michele is o.k., and remembers only the fun she had with you! That will tide her over, until the next time. And, I'm praying, like mad, for your sweet Daughter HotPink-Tell that little Grand Daughter of yours, when you see the whites of her eyes, that she shouldn't keep her fans waiting like that! If I forgot anyone, forgive me, I'm a little worn out, after that party last night! We never even go out at night, and we were there until 10:30! Love You All! Ugg Hi, Uggerly - Hate to tell you, but today is Saturday. Looks like you've got the same malady gommie and my mom had earlier when they both thought it was a different day! Don't worry, I've done it, too! I'm so glad the party was a great success and that it was a wonderful surprise for your daughter-in-law. I'll bet you were tired after all of that excitement! I'm resigned to the fact that our girl will probably come on Monday. I'll be taking T.A.'s kitty puzzle and a couple of his favorite books to the hospital with me so I can keep him occupied during the delivery. Even though the baby will be induced, it could take hours for her to get here, so T.A. will need a lot of entertaining! Hope you will have a nice, relaxing day! |
