The Young and the Restless - MESSAGE BOARDS

Today was another busy day. The BBQ was great. We had fresh corn on the cob, and fresh green beans with new potatoes. Michele helped Aunt Emily shuck the corn and snap the beans. She loved it. As soon as my hubby got home she wanted to show him and tell him I helped. We also had grilled steaks and chicken breasts and carrot cake for dessert. Tomorrow we are driving to a nearby town to take her to a place called Bonkers. Its kinda like a Chuckie Cheese, but much better. The building is huge, and the play equipment is big and sturdy enough that adults can climb along with the kids. There's also arcade games and a restaurant. And best of all..in my husbands opinion, there is a soundproof all glass parents room right in the middle of it all with couches and big screen TVs. As you can imagine, it's usually the dads that run for that room.

Lamar had a good night-he never moved all night- I guess that tells me something.....trying to get him to eat a little breakfast- I tried to sneak in a little supplement this morning and he is not having any-so I'll do some without...

LOL...Neighbor Mike is a retired tailor- and in serious need of something to do- we are having breakfast at 7 this morning and we hear someone digging.....LOL..Mike was out in our front yard digging up an area we are going to replant-he cracks me up- The guy can sew anything-so I gave him my fabric and I'm having him make pillow shams for my bed..trying to find work for him- he made me a dust ruffle and did a terrific job-

GOOD THURSDAY MORNING, EVERYONE! Hope you are all doing well today! It's a nice day here so far; temps will be around 90, I think, with possibility of thunderstorms later. But, that's okay because we can always use the rain.

It was a quiet night, baby-wise. I'm hoping gommie is right and that she will come tomorrow! Amanda said last night if she doesn't come by Monday, she doesn't want to get induced because she says too many bad things happen to babies that are induced. I don't know where she is getting her information from because I've never heard of very many bad things happening when babies are induced. In fact, my ankle doctor said he wife was induced for all three of their children and they are all healthy, happy kids. Hate to say it, but I think her mom has been trying to discourage her from getting induced. I'm sorry, but I don't give credence to hardly anything that woman says. I've done some research and haven't found anything that jives with the things Amanda told me last night. And, according to what I've read, if the baby doesn't come by week 42, she could end up being quite a bit larger and that could increase the chances of needing to do a C-section (which is something Amanda doesn't want, for sure). Just talked to her and she says she isn't sure what they're going to do and is adamant about not wanting that c-section. I hope our girl will solve the problem by coming naturally the next day or so! Let's all keep our fingers crossed (and prayers just might help, too!).

Good morning everybody,hope all of you are feeling fine and have a great day,it's hot again here it's already 96 and it isn't even noon yet so were having another scorcher i really hate when it gets hot like that,i can't see my friends and haven'd been to the nursing home for 3 weeks to see my friend there and hubby's aunt.
