To Jimi and others, I think that you have to step back and put this s/l and the posts on the message boards into perspective. First of all this is a soap, where anything can and will happen and second their are new writers, who I think believe that they have to put their own mark on things. Ultimately they know that they can't have Cane and Lily happy forever and ever. So unfortunately for us the fans, we get this screwed up s/l. We can speculate where there going with this but in the end we really don't know. I think like it has been said before, the more we get upset and complain, the more the writers think their keeping viewers and doing their jobs. For me I can't focus on that, I'm trying to focus on the fact that this is a popular couple and hopefully the writers ultimate plan is to have them back together after a whole lot of heartache.
As for some of the posts people are writing expressing their views about whats going on, we have to realize that it's all opinion and speculation as well (everyone is entitled to their own opionions). Reading what others write can be discouraging, but we have to realize that other posters don't know what's in the writers head anymore than we do. So I think that we have to watch things for ourselves and form our own opinions, and stick with them.
In closing I love Cane and Lily and I'm going to continue to love this couple

No, things did and will not always go the way that we want them to. But as you have stated and myself and, we all of stated, some things have angered us to no end. Right now, I truly believe that the tables are going to be turned beginning with Next weeks episodes. Lily is unhappy which is to be expected, Cane is unhappy and if you look at it, the trump card is in his hands or his family which is Billy. Things are going to explode all over the place from this point. He does not believe in chloe, and has told lily numurous times that she is a liar. But lily is not listening. She will in due time.

;( Charme, no I only know what I saw in a post that read that cane and lily will be in an elevator seen and it whould be coming up in a few weeks because it was shot last week. Oh but today....My heart just broke for lily, did you notice that everyone was with the one they love or at least like, accept for lily. When she closed the door behind her at her fathers house I could have cried for her, she looked so lonely. Cane was happy to see his lowdown brother Billy. Do you think the writers are going to put lily and Billy together? Right now, I don't think that lily can be with anyone accept cane and be happy. But I think that Billy is going to give it a shot, the question is, where are the writers going with it? But after she vented a little today, I also think her character will change to hard core. Only if the pen puts it this way of course. The looks that Billy had on his face when he hugged Jill and cane were just plain evil. He has an agenda, besides what jack told him to do, lily is going to be a target because he knows it will get to cane.

Hello Everyone,

I hope everyone is still hanging in there. I would not let Lily resigning at Jabot get to you. The story is moving and now that Billy is here it is going to move even more.Daniel told us to make sure we watch in the next coming weeks. I believe next week Bill will find out he is the father, and another two weeks I don't know what will happen but we just have to watch!! Look things always seem worse before they get better. HMMMMM isn't that in real life also?

I hope that you all caught on when Cane hired Colleen, he hired her because of one reason and one reason only, and that is to keep connected to the love of his life. He told Kathrine he couldn't bare to not see Lily, so he had to find a way to connect with her. So even if he looks like we have to move on, he hasn't moved on.

Just wanted to encourage everyone, their love is strong as ever and soon and very soon they will get back together. We just all happen to be tired of waiting. We are in a drought of Cane and Lily loving one another on the physical side. We miss the gentle touches and the kisses. Well I wrote the writers and told them for all that Lily lost, and Cane we hope they make it up big time, with the wedding, and honeymoon, and whatever you have to give to them, because we the fans have taken more than enough.

:~ Hi Keshah, good to hear from you again, and I picked up on it quickly after I vented a little in an earlier post. This is why he went behind Jills back and hired Colleen. But, Keshah I read in a spoiler I believe that although lily tells colleen to go ahead and take the job, Colleen backs out anyway. Wonder what will cane do now. Also, I read in other post that some people decided that they liked chloe for what she told colleen today. We'll Im sorry, nothing she can say will make me like her, I know its just a soap, I just can't get past the fact that she destroyed a sweet romantic relationship. Besides she pretended to be her friend so that she could trap cane,what does that make her? just as dirty and lowdown.What is the old cleche' "The pot can't call the kettle black they both are burning" And yes, I am so tired of this storyline, but I just keep holding on for cane and lily. And I truly hope that I am not disappointed in the end. You and everyelse to of course.

I am a big Lily and Cane fan and i hope REEEEALLY, REAALLLY SOON (like tomorrow) chloe gets caught, Cane gets an annulment and Lily and Cane are back together where they belong.. Please hurry up and make this happen..

The s/l should be picking up quickly now that Billy is in the picture. Chloe is going to have a heck of a time getting Billy to stay quiet. He's not someone she can control which is awesome for LANE and I expect a reunion before the end of October hopefully.
