Obviously after reading all of the comments, many of you are tired of the s/l just as I am. But this is what soaps do, they drag them out until everyone is bored or tired of them. This is not a good thing to do in my oppinion, especially if you want to keep your viewers. For right now I'm gambling on the fact that cane and lily will be together again soon. I just hope its real soon or I will loose interest, and then in my world it won't matter who dates who, because I won't be watching. Jimi I think you're losing sight of the fact that this is supposed to be a positive thread about Lily and Cane or Lane. All you do is criticize Cane's character. If I want to read that I can look at other threads. Other Lane fans are upset like you, but we're trying not to lose sight of the goal-Cane and Lily back together. I'm still loving Lane in spite of the stupid s/l.

:) Hi Charme, still don't have the name or the artist of one of the songs I chose, but one other came to mind. I'm a sort of nostalgic person in some ways and I do like 'Old School songs, and I thought of "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole, no one sings it better!!!

Jimi I totally understand your frustration because I can't even watch this soap right now. Every time I see you know who I'm disgusted. I know the writers have Cane acting like an idiot right now. I think they're the idiots and I never miss an opportunity to say it. I don't know when or where this will end, but after watching soaps for so long (not really that old-37) things go around and come around. Sometimes it's a short ride and sometimes it's a long ride. I'm willing to ride it out, through reading the boards. When and if things are made right I'll watch again. Like you I can really get into a soap couple, but I've learned to let it go. I watch for a while and stop when it's not going good. I do think with Cane and Lily that they had to come up with something, but it's disappointing that they came up with this mess. Despite that fact, keep the faith and keep loving Lane

:] Hi Charme, I got the name of the song from the song artist 'The Temptations cd titled "Phoenix Rising" it is called "This is My Promise". A few of the lines are; I want to love you baby, love you for better or worse, and I promise you baby there will be no one else. And I will cherish you for the-rest-of-my-life. Also I came up with another one today while watching the movie "Dream Girls" with Beyonce and Jamie Fox. Jamie sang this song in the movie. The words are, When I first saw you....I said Oh My....Thats my dream, Thats my dream. As I said girl there are so many. This is my Promise is the song I chose for my daughters wedding, and when it was played for their wedding dance, the words captivated everyone there. By the end of the evening I had practically given the title song to almost every guest there. I was told that I made an excellent choice for them. There were over 300 guest at her wedding and of course my mouth was very dry from talking so much.

THE WRITERS COULDN'T HAVE PICKED A BETTER COUPLE WHEN IT COMES TO LILY AND CANE THEY SEEM SO RIGHT FOR EACH OTHER. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL CANE AND LILY REUNITE IT WILL BE A GREAT DAY AND PAYOFF TO LANE FANS FOR ALL THAT THEY HAD TO GO THROUGH TO SEE THE TWO TOGETHER AGAIN.I THINK THAT IT WOULD BE A GREAT IDEAL FOR THE WRITERS TO MAKE CANE AND LILY A SUPER COUPLE OF THE GENERATION LIKE NIKKI AND VICTOR BECAUSE THEY ALL HAVE CHEMISTRY WITH ONE ANOTHER MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE.
